How would McDaniel with Lamar look? You have to think Tua has been holding him back somewhat and his GM hasnt been very good either.
My guess is the play calling. Lamar probably saw what we all saw and said this shit dumb.i wonder what it is, specifically, that lamar wants to do (or not do) that monken won't facilitate
I think they'd gel really well. Lamar seems to love fast players - judging by target shares - and McDaniel's offense is all about speed. How would McDaniel with Lamar look? You have to think Tua has been holding him back somewhat and his GM hasnt been very good either.
It’s a tough one. I do know most of the players in that building love their position coaches. They felt like they finally had the right blend. My guess is Harbaugh stuck to that and thought they’d respond. Bisciotti had different ideas.lmao. So Harbaugh did want to run it back. I can't believe he would think that's acceptable. I knew Steve wouldn't be cool with it. Steve said before that if he puts someone on the hot seat, he may as well cut them now. With his history of Billick, it's what Steve would do.

Yeah and that may be true that the players love the position coaches. But if I'm Steve Bisciotti, and I am a business owner, you know as a business owner that someone may love their manager but the manager may not get the best out of them. Love and personality combos don't always mean great results. It’s a tough one. I do know most of the players in that building love their position coaches. LJ was sick of that damn roll out to the right every time we have a 2pt playi wonder what it is, specifically, that lamar wants to do (or not do) that monken won't facilitate

EDC is staying but he’s got the hot seat too based on what I heard. Bisciotti wants to win.
how ironic
maybe Harbs was happy to move on from Orr but moving on from Monken was a sticking point
any new HC will bring in their own guys, but I do think Monken is going to be highly sought after around the league as an OC (if he doesnt get any HC jobs) - Lions would be a perfect landing spot for him
He was right about Tua whether people want to accept it or not.it's also highly likely that Flores has grown from that experience - he's definitely matured over the last few years
Now I’m getting the nitty gritty since that meeting ended…
Expectations in the FO were that the Ravens were going to move on from Monken. He and Lamar don’t have a great relationship. Nothing bad per se but just doesn’t gel with how Lamar wants to play. Felt moving on and giving Lamar an actual say this time would help with contact stuff.
Harbaugh went in today and wanted to keep both coordinators. Bisciotti said no and that was that. FO wasn’t aware that was the plan.
I think he did really well to construct an offense around Tua's limited skills that actually made him look good until defenses caught up. Deluded Miami fans were calling him top 5 and better than Lamar at one point.he seems pretty philosophically strict and rigid with how he structures his offence
doesnt seem to adapt to personnel
it's a good offence but seems to become unsustainable throughout a season consistently even beyond Tua
also very based on quick timing etc. not much playmaking built into it
maybe he could do that with a different QB but not a ton of evidence to suggest it
Tbh we need taller wrs. Like deep threat/jump ball fade goaline fade route type lol. Big catch radius type playersI think they'd gel really well. Lamar seems to love fast players - judging by target shares - and McDaniel's offense is all about speed.
man he really talked himself out of the job lol
We had Hopkins who caught everything and he didn't even get a target every weekTbh we need taller wrs. Like deep threat/jump ball fade goaline fade route type lol. Big catch radius type players
