Coaching Carousel 2026

May not even get a HC job and still says fuck Cleveland, which is exactly what I would do too
I would take an OC job before the Browns if I am him.

If he goes to the Browns and fails, VERY likely because that organization is a dumpster fire, then he doesn’t get another job. Better to wait for a real job which he is certainly a top tier candidate for.

So I was doing some research and found that if Seattle loses the NFC championship game we can interview Kubiak in person as early as January 26th.

If Seattle wins we cannot interview him until the Super Bowl bye week, meaning February 2nd at the earliest.

We may be without a coach for another 2 weeks depending on what happens this weekend.

Pretty sure the first week is the bye week isn’t it - so all candidates win or lose should be eligible to interview next week - you just can’t actually hire someone who’s still involved until after their season is finished

I think we're going to see a different approach by EDC in the draft and in free agency. I think he will have a couple surprises for us this season. Biscotti got on him on his presser and EDC knows he messed up in the trenches and wasn't able to get a pass rusher in free agency.
Idk of his seat is hot but definitely warm.

I didn’t read the presser that way at all - seems like Steve absolutely trusts EDC and put a bunch of the OL issues on coaching

I don’t think the front office is suddenly going to change how they operate or their process - what may change is some of how they evaluate players and the roster based on the system and schematic requirements of the incoming staffs

I think as long as we are willing to be patient, it doesn't matter what happens this weekend. I'm sure the front office already knew this when they fired Harbaugh, that we may not have a coach until after the Super Bowl. I'm fine with that if Klint Kubiak is who we are targeting.

The only thing with Webb is this feels like Eric Bienemy all over again. Everyone knew Reid called the plays, and everyone knows it's Sean Payton in Denver. If we aren't patient then I can see us hiring Jesse Minter or Mike McDaniel by next week especially if one of them were the most impressive.

Apparently they did have some optimism that they might have a coach in place in time for the senior bowl

Alas that seems exceedingly unlikely

LMAO just started watching Harbaugh's NY presser - first mention of Jack Harbaugh in about 3rd sentence, "enthusiasm....." in about 7th.
yeah I heard that too, he couldn’t shut up about his parents and how great his dad is and using his dad frequently in his presser. Jesus

some of the players that were picked in the draft were on Harbaugh. Not many, but some.
