Coaching Carousel 2026

This might betray my lack of knowledge but why would executives from other front offices know who the Ravens are going to pick as their HC?

They ask around during their interviews..

Coaching assistants gets asked to potentially join up etc

He doesn't know shit but it feels like this is one he could guess on and get right fairly easily
Certainly not because of JLC, but I'm getting the vibe if things go well today, they're going to announce Minter within next day or two. I'm not saying they can't do this, but it would seem strange to me to narrow down a finalist list, interview what I presume is one of, if not the, top candidate in Minter, on a Wednesday, and then leave him completely hanging until at least like Tuesday next week before making a decision.

If we do get Minter how confident are we his OC would be Kliff? I’ve only really seen that pick as an option on Cole’s video. If Minter picks Nate or Davis though, I’d be elated.

I'm with you on this front. If Minter comes in and kills it today and they have no reservations, I think they'll just get the thing done. If they don't feel 100% confident, I think the latter scenario comes into play where they still talk to the others but revisit if needed.

I can't imagine either of those guys take an OC job while still being in the HC hunt, and I'd guess a condition of Minter being hired is that his main staff is ready to go and follows in short order.

Having not followed the ins and out of every HC hiring in awhile, there's a sense to me that once you identify your guy, you usually don't let them leave the building (or only for a short time). My best guess is if you're not announcing him by Friday at the latest, he's not the guy. They'll just go with one of the guys playing this weekend.
And I'd imagine Weaver and Brady sort of fall in the same category. Feels like they're just not going to be the guys.

Dolphins just interviewed guys other than Hafley before they circled back to him

Not sure how I’d feel about a Minter/Kliff hiring. Kubiak would bring the better staff. But whatever, that’s why I’m not getting paid millions of dollars to make these kinds of decisions.

I am slightly biased to the offensive X’s and O’s guy and I don’t even know if that’s a good stance or not lol
