If the reports are true that Lamar REALLY wants kingsbury, and he’s been linked to minter for a while now, you oughta go with what the guys have in mind. Don’t try to square peg-round hole it and force things that none of these guys had in mind.

ESPECIALLY when Lamar has this contract leverage and can literally dictate if this coaching staff does or doesn’t have roster talent to make this thing work. Unfortunately Lamar’s got this team bent over right now, you went with a defensive HC and you need him to sign the extension, it would be wise to give him the OC he wants. Sink or swim with your choices Lamar, that’s the level you wanted to be at.

Yeah. I was thinking the same thing. If Lamar wants Kingsbury and we want the easiest path to extend Lamar, Kingsbury it shall be.

Excited to see what starks and Hamilton do now too.

I feel pretty strongly that Zach Orr was COMPLETELY in over his head and while our talent level isn’t really elite (with BK being out now) we shouldn’t have looked anywhere near that bad.

I mean this in the kindest way, but fuck his contract leverage, and hire someone who will get the best out this group. If its successful, they will buy in. If that’s Kliff, then fine, but don't be scared to take a shot if you believe in their vision.

I hope they schedule one of the toughest opponents week 1. Getting 2011 Steelers vibes for whoever we play.

If you want to hold Jesse Minter accountable for the performance of the team then he’s the one, along with the FO that picks the staff, not a player. How is a coach supposed to coach a team like that?

Well kingsbury has been publicly linked to Minter for a while now.

IF these reports are all true, then hiring an OC other than kliff would mean you’re going against both your HC and your QB’s wishes.

Only 1 year as an OC and no play calling

From his OL background, at most he’s got some run scheme stuff to fall back on but I would say it’s too early for him

Mike lafleur could definitely be a possibility but he’s had zero buzz this whole cycle from anywhere it seems like
