positive to weaver being the DC is that he takes some of the leadership stress off Minter's shoulders and he's not actually the guy in charge of implementing the scheme and playcalling (his biggest weakness as a coach it seems)

I don’t hate him as DC since we have Minter. He’s not my first pick but I think it depends on how we plan on going about things. I’m good with Weaver if he’s helping creating the game plan and managing the day to day stuff for the defense

I've heard nothing other than Weaver was a very bad communicator of the defense.

Yeah, I heard the same. Not sure if that was because he sucked or what. He seems good at communication from the pressers. It could be the Miami situation. I wouldn't hate the hire if he comes here. I would like others ahead of him, though, and agree with you there. I wanted Dennard but sucks he went to Harbage.

Did we expect anything else from Harbaugh though? I literally expected him to do exactly this where ever he went, I mean he’s only been the most stubborn, least adaptable coach in the league over the last 3-4 years. I mean he was fired because he was insisting on running it back with a failed dysfunctional staff, obviously harbaugh of all people is gonna go to a place that will allow him to just run it back.

If we hired an offensive HC then i absolutely agree, but i think he’d be a solid dude to have in the building and on the sidelines with minter as long as minter is the one implementing the playbook and calling the plays
