This is also how I see it. If you have a Defensive-minded HC, it mitigates any stupidity from Weaver. At that point he's a glorified manager.

yeah his skillset would be a fit within the coaching group
especially if you're looking at a younger OC type guy

wouldn't be my first choice but i'd be fine with him at DC working under Minter

now that Dennis Johnson's gone though, the even better move for me with Weaver would be AHC and DL coach

the actual rumour was that he was at Lamar's restaurant

again, this is so unsourced i dont really believe it myself lol

And a glorified manager is a much better job description for the assistant than the actual head coach

Thanks for bringing up Gary. No it doesn’t make a part of a fucking tree lol, but Gary gives props to Harbaugh saying how much it helped him to work with him. He mentions it at about the 5:20 mark of this interview.

I didn’t know Lamar had a restaurant.

Doesn’t he know most restaurants fold in the first 5 years?? That said pompano fckn LOVES Lamar they might support tf out of it.

I remember Ray Lewis’ BBQ restaurant in canton folding in the first year

If Harbaugh can take our coaches, we should be able to take Harbaugh coaches.

Our special teams has fallen off in recent years, so now Harbaugh can take the coach who couldn't coach Loop to not kick it short. Linebackers coach? I mean have we really had good linebacker play under him? Harbaugh can have him too.

system install
personnel management
analysis

all the roles of a normal coordinator but without the playcalling and the scheme and play designs are more collaborative

but depending on the HC, they may have a big role in the offseason (and in practices) when the HC's attention is split
