I imagine that Shedeur/Monken pairing is going to be a disaster from a relationship perspective. Guessing his on-field performance improves a bit, but Shedeur has never had hard coaching in his life and now has a stereotypical hard ass at the helm.

It's what they deserve if that's how it plays out. Multiple guys removed themselves from consideration because they wanted to hitch Schwartz to them no matter what. Time goes on and it looks like in order to keep Schwartz, they have to give him the job. Now they've passed him over and pissed him off.

Monken is a good OC but he comes over as too much of a grumpy old bastard to be a HC these days. It might go like it did with all those Belichick assistants who tried to copy his hardass act and just ended up with the players hating them.

I just hope Monken doesn't try to steal Snoop away from us. EDC keeps proving he's disastrous at finding a back up QB who isn't called Tyler Huntley and I don't want us wasting draft picks or money on another one of his misses.

in some cases more important than the coordinators
