Why are we not considering him as Asst. Head Coach/Defensive coordinator - no play calling responsibilites ... he can help with game planning and player coaching... I think he is a great defensive coach.

he only wants head coach and will be taking a year off. Bucs would have been a good opportunity because Bowles is on the hot seat

Don't know how to feel about the DC hire anyway given who's the HC. Leonhard seems highly respected but can his ideas mesh with Minter's ? That's my question for whoever we hire at this position.
