Coaching Carousel 2026

That's true, I'd rather get credit for having part in development of a player. That being said I'd also prefer to be call my own plays. Webb, Doyle and Nate would be calling their own plays if they were in Baltimore. If they stay where they are, which are definitely not bad choices, they won't be calling their own plays.
Sure, but if they leave, call their own plays, and don't succeed doing so, their likelihood of getting HC offers dwindles. They're in a position where if they simply stay the course and do the same things they did last year, they're front runners for HC jobs next offseason.

If they don't have the confidence that they can do it than maybe they should stay where they are

Yup. Or maybe the access that the risk exceeds the reward. Most coaches, GMs, and even Owners are conservative by nature.
risk doesn't exceed the reward here at all. Atleast not in my opinion. Nothings guaranteed. He'll stafford is getting pretty old. He could fall off a cliff, then what. Lamar is going to be at the very least very good to possible MVP and maybe we win the super bowl next year. Then he writes his own ticket and we don't even need to win for that to happen.

I'm not saying there isn't any risk, but I'd say it's pretty safe and a great gig.

Most likely to take over at Denver OC…

But I’m huffing the copeium baby pass me the bong!

Make me a line. I’m right there with you!

They really need to hire these coordinators. I dont really get it.

Either you're hiring Kingsbury, Webb, Doyle, or a college coach. Aint that hard
we know they requested an interview with Doyle but we don't know if he's been hired and per Zrebiec they gavin interviewed college coaches also. Just because you are anxious doesn't mean they should rush the process.

I could probably be ok with it for 1 year. Unless he really did a good job.

Ultimately, if you want to win now, Minter needs to right the ship on Defense and the OC needs to actually help Lamar

I would have preferred someone from West Coast school - I just think that type of offense fits the Ravens really well. Great match for the aggressive/physical defense we'll eventually build.

Other than that, yep - let's see how whoever is the OC does for a year, make a judgment then.

Also minter said yesterday they’re pretty far along in the process with the coordinators

You either bring in someone who creates a schematic advantage or you bring in someone who enables Lamar to be a gameday playcaller
