I don't think they would want to rush the process. They haven't even hired a defensive coordinator yet which states that they trying to hire the right coordinators that they envision can help them significantly now rather then later. On the offensive side its likely inportant to not just hire a offensive coordinator but one they believe can install a offensive system in which they want to continue run throughout Lamars / Minter career which is kind of similar to what John Harbaugh did as the system Greg Roman had in place stayed but Todd Monken simply ask to modify it.

Outside of that I am little surprised Kliff Kingsbury isn't getting more attention from teams unless his asking price is considered to be more than what teams are willing to give or something

Most of these OCs get captured for player development and play calling. I don't think many OC's are going to come here and get much credit for player development with Lamar, given what he's already accomplished. Play calling, yes.

Yea but our offense is basically nonexistent in the playoffs even with lamar. If they can get us over that hump in the playoffs, they will get all the credit for that atleast.
 
I’ll be honest, I’m getting a little nervous about this OC hire. The top options are Scheelhaase, Doyle and Webb and from what I’ve read all are planning to stay with their current teams.

Even the old heads that i wanted in an advisory role are starting to dwindle but I know the front office has to have a plan.

I just want to know who it is! Lol

I do think Leonard may want to come here even if he isn’t calling the plays because he can learn under Minter. It’s a similar scenario as McVay with people who want to work for him and Shanahan. So I do think there is hope for us to get Leonard assuming both parties want the gig outside of playcalling
 
I think it's comical when teams like the Brownies flout the rules. Apparently they have found their OC in Travis Switzer, but are waiting to announce it until they fulfill their Rooney Rule requirements. Laughable and insulting.
