Coaching Carousel 2026

What I like the most about Doyle/Ledford being the primary hires on offense is that it really sounds like running the football is going to be the priority.
Then that OL better be a damn priority... re-sign Linderbaum then send Faalele to New York with Harbaugh or since Monken didn't see him as a problem either, he can go to Cleveland.

I can't pretend I know anything about these guys. But, if Stern is a loss, the question becomes, how much of a get is Gelman to make up for that loss?
I read a short about Gelman and he was formerly on the Ravens staff from 2019 through 2023, part of his time in Bmore intersecting with Jesse’s time here. I think any head coach wants to have guys around that he has worked with in the past, or that he has personal knowledge of their experience. Of course we can’t know now if Gelman’s a suitable replacement for Stern, but IMO it’s great that Jesse can bring in as many of “his guys” as possible.

I think the big thing with all of this is that yeah, maybe he hasn’t called the plays. But he’s damn sure designed a portion them and has a large input into the flow of the game. He’s not sitting there idle doing nothing all week.

Don’t like this. Him and Lamar have grown together and that’s Lamar’s guy for real. This could be a bad move

Just realized I quoted the wrong post but I agreed with Simba. He's familiar with the system and the bridge between Lamar and the OC. Maybe he needs to get out that comfort zone. I want this team playing pissed off this year.

I also don’t think Lamar cares near as much as people think. Man just wants to play ball. He knows it’s his team at the end of the day.
