The King and Snoop, the Defense, and the Merry Christmas Ya'll

My only 2 thoughts are Todd really is his own worst nightmare. He could be competent but chooses to not be. And this team REFUSES to play a complete game of football. Looking at this year you could argue maybe Bengals second game was complete but anyone who watched it would know some things really went our way to keep things on track.

Probably the worst season we've seen in a decade

I’d really like answers on why this offense looks so much better with Huntley. I get it that Lamar is Lamar and we make the game simpler with Huntley but this is ridiculous. If we didn’t make it so complicated we could’ve won more games and not been in this spot.
Feels like they get big play-itis when Lamar is in. Always looking for the chunks instead of taking what’s available. And that’s on him and coaching/play calling.

This is exactly the problem and yep I see that too. It’s infuriating because you could see so many more wins we could’ve had. Honestly, it’s like we’re getting playoff Ravens in the worst way all season and no more regular season Ravens.

Lamar, Harbaugh, Monken all doing poorly.

No excuses for the Defense though, they just suck ass until they don’t and then if you wait long enough they will suck ass again

If The Eagles had Nick Foles, then we can have Tyler Huntley lol. On a more serious note, I'm happy we won but yes like everyone else, I want answers to why we play so different with Huntley compared to Lamar. I understand having to make things more simple with Huntley but why can't we do that with Lamar?

because man....because

Willis had 16 yards per completion on our secondary. Our pass rush couldn't do shit again.

We ass.
I’m not even going to hit our pass rush too hard because Marlon and Gilman were staring into the backfield all game and Nate decided he needed to play every rep like 15 yards off for some reason. Any QB at this level should be able to take advantage of that.

Monken gets away from what we do best when Lamar is in there figuring he will put on his Superman cape. He gets too cute with the play calling. Lamar is a far superior talent compared to Snoop so this situation really points back to a Monken problem.

that's what it looks like to me. all of the sudden we have a quick pass game

Yep, yep. No causation meant, just an observation of our front.

Wondering if that deep of a cushion was Nate's doing or a "scheme".

Huntley has no say so at all and since he is the backup and monken gets to call the game he wants to actually call. He isnt trying to make a big play, he runs when the read is not there or when he sees an open lane for a few yards. I could be wrong but huntley seems like he reads the field from bottom to top so monken keeps it very simple for him
