Pats? The winner of this division plays who in the first round?
Come on bro, let's not kid ourselves if Lamar healthy that's 1000% best chance in winning. I'm grateful for what Huntley has done and he's looked like he's improved but no way you sit qb#1 for the back up cause he won the last game. You start the guy you think gives you the best chance to win, whoever that is. Fux a need for redemption
I think the AFCN winner would be the 4 seed. I would guess 4 plays 5, whoever that ends up being. The winner of this division plays who in the first round?
Not sure what you mean, didn’t say anything different. Neither you or I have the info to have an informed opinion on the decision.Come on bro, let's not kid ourselves if Lamar healthy that's 1000% best chance in winning. I'm grateful for what Huntley has done and he's looked like he's improved but no way you sit qb#1 for the back up cause he won the last game.
Nah, Lamar but with Huntley play callingIt’s Huntley. If the Ravens want to win.
ultimately being petty to protect TJ Watt may have ruined their season
would be incredibly ironic
bruh a decade from now, Lamar Jackson will be a 5 time MVP still playing for this team at almost 40. Please.Fellas. Astounding that I have to say this out loud. We gave Derrick Henry, the guy with the 21st most rush attempts and counting, the most carries he's seen in his 10 year career. He clearly should have had the final totes the week prior. But turning what is a qualifiable outlier into a replicable week-to-week game plan, and therefore the basis of benching Lamar for Huntley, is among the biggest mental lapses I've seen this year. In a perfect world, Henry sees the ball 20-30 times with a healthy YPC, and Huntley is relied upon for capable game-managing and 3rd down conversions.
But we're playing Pittsburgh. In Pittsburgh. Short-handed as they are, it's far from a gimme under the best of circumstances. Even now, it's closer to a 50-50. Treating it as an opportunity for Lamar to become healthier specifically for a postseason that is as unlikely to happen as it's likely to happen, is as mind-numbing as it sounds. Depending on Lamar's health, we'll be one of the healthier teams entering the final week with something to play for.
Are we slated for a deep post-season run? No. But the teams coming to the dance hall are arguably beatable. Personally, I couldn't care less about the drop in draft positioning. The 4 of 4 players who are the betting favorites for DRoY were selected were picked after the 26th. Last year's DRoY was selected 19th. Would be fun to consider the possibilities of the earlier prospects, but the talent will be there. I'm hoping only a SuperBowl run saves John Harbaugh at this point, and if we make it to the big dance, would be hard to complain. Look, it's the holidays, we were just given the biggest, unlikely set of gifts we could've hoped for, and the mood here reeks of devastation. Free to do whatever you want, I'm genuinely relived with the outcome and am praying for us to make the postseason. A decade from now, during the inevitable down seasons when we're praying to be praying for the playoffs, I'll at least look back and know that I didn't take any of this for granted.
100%I was saying this the whole game. It was so obvious. Rodgers was king petty
Ya know, as soon as I posted that, I considered editing out the petty part and saying Rodgers clearly has pride issues lol100%
And it isn't about Rodgers being petty. No.
It is his pride.
If Garrett gets the record on HIM, he will be on highlight reels. That is why he didn't want the sack.
I hear you, guilty of that myself before. Either way I get what you’re saying and yes, his pride cost him. They could’ve won if he wasn’t so cautious about getting sacked. It was obviously #1 priority on the day for himYa know, as soon as I posted that, I considered editing out the petty part and saying Rodgers clearly has pride issues lol
If myles garret sacks him, its a chance he wont be playing for reminder of season anywayI hear you, guilty of that myself before. Either way I get what you’re saying and yes, his pride cost him. They could’ve won if he wasn’t so cautious about getting sacked. It was obviously #1 priority on the day for him
And literally the entire social media universe watched the game and came to the same conclusion. I’m seeing it everywhere.I hear you, guilty of that myself before. Either way I get what you’re saying and yes, his pride cost him. They could’ve won if he wasn’t so cautious about getting sacked. It was obviously #1 priority on the day for him
That is the whole key, his health. If healthy, Lamar, no question at all for me. However, I would much rather have a 100% Snoop over a 60% Lamar.Come on bro, let's not kid ourselves if Lamar healthy that's 1000% best chance in winning. I'm grateful for what Huntley has done and he's looked like he's improved but no way you sit qb#1 for the back up cause he won the last game.
Did you watch the same game as us?Your defense doesn’t seem like it’s 27th ranked in the league. Your defense is alot better than that I think.
The game currently going on has implicationsGuessing the NFL is waiting until after the game tonight to reveal the Week 18 schedule. I always thought they did it at halftime of the Week 17 Sunday Night game.
