We didn't think Monken used a FB either and look how that developed. You are absolutely right though.

I know the 49ers and Chargers use the FB a decent bit, so I imagine Saleh or Minter will want him. Klint Kubiak is a run heavy guy that'll also probably take another good blocker that can be moved around.

Probably the same situation as when Monken came in

Start moving away from using a FB but ricard’s so much of a weapon that the offence evolves with him involved

It’s also worth noting that lots more offences are using FBs or having other players do FB stuff

This what I was thinking too. Know pat wants to be back but no idea what the offense might look like going forward. Guys it could hurt most are him and Snoop

Man I would fucking hate to see ricard go. Think it would be a huge mistake. Not too many fbs out there you feel this way about but ricard is that dude, he changes your game plan and allows you to commit so much harder to the run, he changes the math against loaded fronts.
 
Mike McDonald may be an offensive savant, but offense is only 1 part of the football team. What has his leadership been on defense and special teams. Not saying he's not the right fit as I do like McDonald, but I want to understand how he can help build a good staff throughout the entire team, not just on offense.

I have to say… if you’re gonna be like that, that’s fine, but you’re gonna have to have at least a secretary or something lmao, like if you’re not gonna have an agent, you gotta establish some kinda open line of communication
 
How long they gonna give Lamar with a new contact and HC before they ship him out? ...if he doesn't win a SB. Because that's what this is all about.
 
This was such an easy year to win the SB. As much as I've ragged on so many people, the primary resson we arent there is Zach Orr.

If we had a real DC that just didn't egregiously collapse and had a middle of the road defense despite the higher end roster, we dont lose that Bills game. We don't lose the pats game and others. We absolutely make the play offs, and we don't emotionally and mentally derail our whole season.

This team had many many many shortcomings, but it was over after week 1 because of Orr.
 
Really glad we drafted a kicker with accuracy problems, didn't make him win his job, and didn't give him on the job training during the season
