2026 Offseason Thread

I will say most new uniforms have been terrible. I’m holding out hope that they actually look good. I’ve wanted something different for awhile. But when I hear iridescent, I’m a little hesitant
Just no plastic numbers like the Rams. Please.

I may be biased in my opinion, but for me Ed and Haloti are must have if your into Ravens jerseys.
High school I had Ray, Ed, and Bart Scott, I rocked a ngata jersey all through my 20s and have worn the same Lamar jersey since 2018.

I’m definitely due for a new one especially with the new shit coming out. I’m irrationally excited about this

I already have the love of my life Hamilton jersey but if this new jersey is that nice I may double back lol

Hamilton?

On the jersey. Don't know if it's the numbers or other highlights or what exactly, but they're going for some modernization and shine.

Maybe a splash of red? The Raven's eye is red but nothing else is. It does kinda suck to have the same 3rd color as the other purple team. Red is also on the Maryland flag.

This is very far from my guy's domain so bigger grain of salt than most things I hear... but it does sound like there is some incorporation of the red.

I'm sure almost no one cares but today's random little nugget in a time of nothingness is that they had Lucas Scott slim down considerably and are trying him as a TE this year, since they're not going with a traditional FB anymore.

Also, they only had one player - Ronnie Stanley - that did not show up for the voluntary workouts. And they expect that from him at this stage of his career.

Everyone else showed, although a few didn't participate as they recover from offseason stuff, most notably Nate Wiggins.

Very interesting....

So other former players have weighed in on this, but the overall sentiment is that Flowers = gaping wide pussy for complaining about this. The ONLY thing that would make John look bad in this case, is if the Ravens were violating league rules.

According to the CBA, which Flowers union reps advocated strongly for...
14 padded practices per 17 game season.
11 padded practices in the first 11 weeks.
Only 3 padded practices allow in the last six weeks of the year.

Players are going to get absolutely eviscerated by the public if they're claiming this is "excessive".

Complaing about how practices are conducted now is crazy. What would they do pre 2011? If anything the CBA limitations placed on practices have added to in season injuries. Zay needs to pull up his skirt and stop crying.

Former Steelers players have also complained about Tomlin running guys too hard in practice, and they would comment that it led to losses due to fatigue, and harbaughs practices have often been regarded as the hardest in the league.

And if your team in constantly melting down in the fourth quarter, it’s not out of the question that they are just more fatigued than their opponents basically every week.

I’ll say that you definitely need a harsh break in period just to get game conditioned, but once you reach that point it should be dialed back and technique, chemistry, and playbook should be the emphasis, rather than continuing the conditioning, at that point you really are just wearing your body down. Proper recovery time really is key for both conditioning and avoiding soft tissue injury, when your muscles and joints are too fatigued you start subconsciously compensating and that’s when injuries happen, along with plain overworking a muscle that’s already in a state of recovery.

Sure it might sound soft but that’s just because it’s being said out loud when most players just stfu about it because they don’t wanna get called a pussy, doesn’t mean Zay isn’t at least partially correct
