2026 Offseason Thread

really....with a new coach. I think you are one of the few.

Lucky enough you have a long wait until the new season anyway.
I just want Jesse and co to do well and I don't think they're inhereting a very good situation. The roster has so many problems and the draft is super weak.

We know bro.

First Lamar sack = trash
First big play we give up on defense = trash
First turnover on offense = trash
While that is 100% how I've been in recent years, you're going to see an incredible amount if patience in year 1 from me. As I said to RavensMania, I don't think the team is very good and I think the expectations for a totally new regime need to be set very low.

I'd only be disappointed if they're not even competting for a WC spot.

definitely not in a bad position at all. the defense is much stronger than what he had with the chargers. You're not giving it enough credit

Interesting tidbit on the opening Kickoff. The Seattle Seahawks will kick off the 2026 NFL Season on Wednesday September 9th due to the fact the 49ers & Rams are scheduled to play Thursday Night in Australia at 8:30PM or local time, Friday Morning in Australia. Wonder if the NFL goes with the Super Bowl rematch against the Patriots to kick off the season or will the new look New York Ravens Giants led by John Harbaugh get the call to go down under to start the year. The Chargers are also listed as playing in Seattle this year but they have a road game against us as well this year. If the NFL elects to go with the Chargers taking on the Seahawks, it would rule out playing the Chargers in Week 1 for the Ravens.

No offense is ugly with healthy Lamar
Lamar was healthy at times last year and the whole offense was dysfunctional. Mostly because of a combination of Todd, the OL, and the defense not helping in the field position/ points categories at all.

Lamar is damn near a superhero but he still needs his team to show up for him. And they literally never do

The one nice thing is that I don’t think there is a great roster in the AFC next year.

The Chiefs are filled with holes but they still pretend they weren’t a healthy 6 win team last year that was losing the game that would eliminate them from the playoffs before their QB went down.

The Patriots need weapons on offense and a better OLine.

The Bills need multiple defensive starters including edge and cb and need some WRs to throw to.

The Bengals and Texans are both half a football team.

The Jaguars seem to be actively making holes on their roster and I don’t quite get it.

Meanwhile the rest of the AFC all has the same question, “ya but what about the QB”? You can talk about Denver’s roster, or the Chargers getting healthy, or think the Steelers have good pieces, or like what the Colts did early on last year, but then you see the problem at QB in January.

Patriots picked up 2 olinemen and theyre getting aj brown. Bills got dj moore and bradley chubb. Texans still gonna be dangerous long as that defense is there so everything is up to cj stroud again this season.

Patriots needed more than 2 OLine and if they get AJ Brown then they have one receiving threat which is exactly what they had last year.

DJ Moore is solid but doesn’t move the needle much and Chubb doesn’t play corner and the Bills still won’t have a good pass rush.

Pats got romeo dubbs and a decent tightend also. Dj moore does in fact moves the needle for bills lol. They been doing it with talent less wr talent than moore, now that they add moore, you think it means nothing? Im not saying these teams are super but we are lying to our selves if we think its not an improvement.. my bet would and is already on denver anyway.
