They’re pleased with the development but want to see more before they go that direction. Think he’s going to be a more than fine swing T though.

Have not heard this but doesn't make it not true. They usually try to cross train all of the interior guys though, so wouldn't be shocked at all. Some experiments end very quickly and some maintain continued training.

Feels tough to completely block Emery Jones' progression unless they somehow think he can factor into the C conversation

basically giving up on a 3rd round pick who hasnt even had an offseason

but also don't get stuck with the sunk cost fallacy

will be interesting to know how Ledford likes Jones.

Even after EDC makes the roster better in the back half of FA, I'd think this team has a significantly weaker roster than years past. Then with the new coaching staff going to need some time to gel and also the STs is potentially a nightmare of getting a new P and K in there, I just see the early part of the season being potentially harder than we'd expect.

From the drsft call videos, it seems like it's not just Minter and Doyle who are younger. It seems a lot of the staff is. Hopefully this more youthful regime is up with times and propels us forward

If you want to keep your draft picks (Beernsten not counted here), I dont see how you can really add any vets beyond maybe 1 DL guy

Still may be room for a veteran OT, an ILB depending on Buchanan's recovery, and probably another depth S.

For OT yes it's possible but someone has to go in lock step obviously. But yes it's possible.

ILB is possible even if Teddye is ready because I dont know that they love Higgins enough to not try and do better.

S I dont see even though I acknowledge you're probably right. You have Hamilton, Starks, and Hawkins. That's a big 3. Then you have Jackson who's the ST ace. There's not room on this roster for 5 S.

i think there probably has to be room on the roster for 5 S because the top 3 guys are probably going to be starters and the 4th guy you don't want to see the field on defence - so feels like you need another guy

I just dont see where the other guy is getting cut from. Adisa? One of the CBs. I'd doubt the CBs

I think it's a little early to say how the 53 is going to go, and that's coming from a roster guy right here. Don't think this team is anywhere close to complete right now. They'll add a few more bodies, and a good portion of them will be ones that could factor.

Let's see but again, I dont see how you add to many vets without cutting your draft picks from this year or last
