and he's a good rotational depth guy. He was drafted in the 4th round and isn't a bad player. I don't get all the hate for him. He has been a good pick. Not everyone can be a pro bowler. BTW, this post isn't targeted at you.

Getting a back end depth guy out of the 4th round is fine. But that's not the point. Deebos original premise was are we done overhyping and holding out hope Tavius is going to be a good pass rusher. The answer to that is yes because he's never been a good pass rusher.

I don't remember anyone ever saying he was going to be a pro bowl player, just a good roll player.

I dont recall pro bowler, but people were definitely saying he could and should be a starter. He's perfect as a backend role player for early downs.
Depends how you define "starter" because he's probably going to be on the field a lot for the first couple of plays because as you noted, he has an early down role.
He's a solid enough player though. Nothing flashy, but does the dirty work. Was actually having a good year last year until the injury, and then the play kind of fell off once he got back. Never seemed to be fully healthy in the back half.

Yeah I had watched him and wasn’t sure what they were doing spending a third on him.
For reference, I didn’t think jakobi lane was a 3 but I can understand it, I didn’t understand that one.
Any thing possible . Fans felt the same way about Justice Hill and possibly even Ben Powers before they had their break out year.
I'm shocked by the trob hate, he's a decent player for us last season injured aside where from a pure time perspective definitely rushed back. He's a really great edge 4, sets the edge in run extremely well, and can rush from the inside too. Not to mention when he hits players, he hits hard as fuck. I don't think he's a star or anything, but he's a vital player
Not surprised Pff hates him, he's a free up other rushers guy, not tasked with getting to the qb himself. Players who do that role and preform unselfishly are crucial

Clowney doesn't make sense anymore imo. I'd honestly love to bring back calias cambell as a bridge to madibuke and keep him fresh for later down the year.

I don’t have high expectations for Isaac, but there has been at least a little juice when he’s gotten a chance to be on the field. Unfortunately that just hasn’t been often. But he had a really good camp before the injury last year. I wouldn’t count on him but I also wouldn’t count him out.
Ravens pass rushers in the 2-3rd round are typically not real people / really good disappearing magicians. I honestly think we are laundering money with them.
