I think orr will eventually be a good coach and this is coming from someone who called him ass before his first game lol
 
I know eventually he will actually be washed, but I do think the inconsistency year to year is less Marlon and more of the state of the defense. To be fair, the team does put him in some unfavorable spots and moves him around quite a bit.

Is he still a top 10 CB? Probably not. But the team is significantly better with him on the team than without.

I agree he can be good, but he definitely was not ready to be DC. Might take a few hops to get there like McDonald did. After the LB gig in Seattle, have him bump to college DC and eventually rise back up to become an NFL DC.

I do feel bad that the whole “Fire Orr” is seen as negative on him (which some is deserved), but the frustration from me came from Harbaugh not making significant changes when needed. Similar to Falele. He’s likely a great person and will likely be a solid coach. But he still has some room to grow.

Yeh Marlo was trash last year like almost all of the defense but I'm not hearing that he wasn't very good prior to that.

Lets see what happens with a great defensive mind and a top DBs coach.

Think we get at least 4 key players from this draft. One of the wrs and one of the TEs will pan out. The person I see really showing out from later picks is Rivers. Minter every year has gotten production from late round cbs. From what I've heard, had he been bigger, he would have gone earlier. Minter bringing a new demeanor to the defense and Ioane will help bring that same tone to the guys upfront.

The guy nobody talks about who should be ready to break out with minter is TJ Tampa. He's played well when in the lineup he's no bust.
