Week 12 Discussion (Is It Monday Yet?)

They can’t make it any more obvious now that this is a protest to PI review.

The team who set it in motion, the saints, had every right to want PI reviewable because of the refs screwups putting them out of the SB.

So, in a season where the refs are protesting pi reviews and not overturning anything, NO gets challenged for a PI call on a ticky tack situation, and it finally gets overturned to screw the saints.

The refs literally overturned a rare challenge as a big F you to the saints for setting this PI challenge thing in motion

I'm telling you there's a legit betting scandal out there is going on that we don't know about yet. The NFL has a Tim Donaghy situation on their hands but we just don't know which ref it is in the NFL. Throwing bogus PI flags allows the refs to help steer the game toward them winning whatever bet they put down.

The fact they are being this stingy about PI shows they are trying to hide something. Why are the refs so concerned about being wrong and what are they hiding?

Yeah but look at everything else this season... if Humphrey’s call vs Hopkins wasn’t overturned then I don’t see why that should be lol. One could easily argue timing and that the contact coming so shortly after the ball leaves the QBs hands makes it just a regular bump cover.

Yes, the call was right, but comparing that to other calls? Eh.

that's what im saying - that's a good review and how the rule should work - that's how i think everything else should have worked this year - was an obvious miss by the refs in a big situation with the game on the line - they absolutely have to get that right - there should have been many overturns this year

clete blakeman - 1 of the worst referees in the league btw

Now all we need to do is take care of business tomorrow night because we'll have the towns of Pittsburgh and Cleveland praying hard for our demise. Sadly for them every other town big and small with the exception of LA will be rooting for Lamar Jackson and his juggernaut Ravens.

they also have to play each other again next week

What was also so funny was seeing Dwayne Haskins celebrating on the sidelines and taking selfies with fans like he put up the greatest QB performance in league history after the Skins won! laugh out loud!

At least the Jets won. With the way how this AFC North season has gone, I really hope we win the division once more. More importantly, if we clinch a playoff spot as early as possible, that'd be greatly appreciated. Also, let's go Jags (for that very reason).

With the exception of our game, I'm hoping the Bills win out and the Pats slip up to allow the Bills to win the AFC East.

Despite records, Browns clearly the biggest threat to the division if we were to stumble (something I do not anticipate). PIT is straight garbage right now. The fact that they squeaked out 2 very lucky wins vs Indy IND and CIN, the only thing this is doing is pushing back their draft pick next year (or, should I say, Miami's pick ...).
