I'm playing catch up, but the guy I heard yesterday was Sadiq. Cold water was thrown on that this morning. He was always an option but it wasn't THE option as it was stated yesterday. They really liked the OL options on day 2, but....

The most important thing I learned is that they didn't expect Ioane to go there. Thank the Dolphins for going Proctor. They thought someone was moving ahead of them to get Ioane.

No real reason to trade up right now. The board at 45 isn’t gonna be much better than at 32

i think there's gonna be players we like at 45
i think the difference between some of the guys at 45 and some of the guys who've been picked the last 8 picks is negligible

Still confusing why he was even brought up. Not by you, by them

Browns went Fano, Giants went Mauigoa then Dolphins went Proctor. Those are the teams who took OL in front of us. We just got lucky the way the board fell.

so you think they would have taken sadiq over bain as well?

thank fuck ioane was available because that would have genuinely sent me over the edge

Because I think he would have been the pick if Ioane was gone like they were thinking he would be.

I don't know what the discourse was here on Bain but I had heard that liked him, but didn't love him.

So it was between Ioane and Sadiq per my understanding.

Ask your guy if they would have taken Bain

Do you know if Bain would've been in play if Ioane wasn't there? Or would they have gone with Sadiq in that case?
