EDC gonna just stand firm and use up all 11 picks ain’t he?

hate the pick.

Like his teammate, Lemon… he ain’t built for the North.

I was expecting a different type of receiver, more in Bernard's mold, more physical than tall, but I'm fine with Jacobi.

At least we're looking for big players and not just quick little elves anymore.
Remember that Lane has connections with the Ravens through Heap (high school) and the new wide receivers coach, a former coach at USC.
Lane, Zay, Bateman, and Walker can definitely stretch the field. So far, it's been a very Ravens-style draft, not particularly flashy, but logical and solid.

We'll see what surprises await us tomorrow

I think they were very open to trading but some of the other guys going when they did means they felt content to sit. I’d be shocked if a decent portion of the guys that went today were anywhere near as high as they went on the Ravens board

I do have a sneaking suspicion that they might have been targeting delp and haulcy though

That means they had some guys they wanted at C taken. That's gonna happen. Question is if you had just used a late round pick, if you could've moved up enough to avoid that.
Slaughter or Jones would be the only ones that fit the bill and it would have taken about a 3rd, 4th, and a 5th to go get them on paper

I don’t understand why you hoard all those day three picks and not use any to move up and grab some decent talent instead of staying put and picking “just a guy” players. You can only keep 52 players anyway. That is my biggest beef with EDC. He pulls this same bullshit every year.

8 more picks we could have used to move up to ensure they get someone before they are taken. Why EDC acting like he can't trade up all of a sudden?
Because then you end up with 8 picks total and 5 of them are end of the 5th or later. That doesn’t make you better as a team.

For fun, I asked ChatGPT to give me a projected Super Bowl winner based off free agency and all the moves so far in the offseason. I also told it only the first three rounds of the Draft were completed. The Super Bowl pick? Ravens over the Rams. Ravens beat the Bills in the AFC Championship to get to the Super Bowl. If AI says it, think we should all book our hotels in LA now.
