Booger's just as stupid. He actually had to point out that Thanksgiving was in November!

who aren't they interviewing would be the real breaking news

ROBERT SALEHC, SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

ESPN's Jake Trotter reports the Browns will interview 49ers DC Robert Saleh for their head-coaching vacancy over the weekend.
Saleh's interview will come after Cleveland meets with Ravens OC Greg Roman and former Packers HC Mike McCarthy on Thursday. In his third year as defensive coordinator, Saleh led the 49ers to a top-10 season in points allowed and the No. 2 season in yards allowed. Saleh has played a major role in securing San Francisco a first-round bye and the top seed in the NFC. Cleveland's defense finished 20th in points allowed.

The wait is over....... The Dallas Cowboys & Jason Garrett are officially parting ways and a search for the next Cowboys Head Coach begins.

I thought this was interesting. Rivera spoke and visited Joe Gibbs prior to taking the job.

I wonder what discipline will come down from the league office - with Kraft also in a pickle he doesn't really have the position to fight or posture against any punishment from the league like he might have done with deflategate if he'd known brady was going to be suspended (and that it wouldnt just be picks)

for reference - the punishment for spygate was 500k fine for BB, 250k fine for the pats, loss of 1st round pick (would have been their 2+3 in stead if they'd missed playoffs)

So we know that Jason Garrett is gone and will no longer be coaching the Cowboys in 2020. Except Jason Garrett is still technically the Head Coach of the Dallas Cowboys until Jan 14th as there has been nothing official in terms of his firing. So as things stand, the Cowboys do not officially have a Head Coach Opening until Jan 15th or Jerry pulls the trigger and fires Jason between now and then. Despite that, the Cowboys are bringing in Mike McCarthy for an interview for a job that is yet to be vacant.

Along with McCarthy Marvin Lewis is also set to be interviewed by the Cowboys

Sense is they want a guy with prior experience as HC. I’ve always felt neither Roman nor Wink fit Jerry’s profile but I guess we’ll see.

BEN WATSONTE, NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

Patriots TE Ben Watson announced his retirement following the team's Wild Card loss to the Titans.
Watson retires after spending 15 years with the Patriots, Saints, Browns and Ravens. While Watson never had more than six touchdowns or 825 yards in a single season, he maintained three-down ability and freakish athleticism into his late 30s. Watson provided the Patriots with arguably the single-greatest hustle play the league has ever seen when he raced 100 yards across the field to force a fumble on Champ Bailey just before the goal line in the 2006 playoffs.
