a truly magical achievement - to play well enough to not be benched but also bad enough and aggressive enough to throw that many ints

if he throws 1 td and 4 picks he'll average 2 tds and 2 ints per game over a whole 16 game season - which is wild

Pretty shocking but I guess if you aren't in the playoff picture and you're likely in the QB market, you can allow him to be that reckless,

The Vikings are not expected to play their starters against the Bears in Week 17.
With nothing to gain from winning—the Vikes are locked into the NFC's No. 6 seed regardless of Sunday's outcome—risking Kirk Cousins to injury in a meaningless finale wouldn't have made much sense. Dalvin Cook and Eric Kendricks will join Cousins as spectators as Minnesota prepares for its playoff opener next week.

I do wonder if this would be a starting point for Judon and negotiating a long term deal with him. Judon may want something similar to what ZDs got in the $16M range though.
