Although he has never won any playoff games, he does have a good regular season record with bad and cheap ownership. For the Redskins, I'd consider this a good hire. Just getting to the playoffs on a regular basis would be great for the Skins and their fans. It would wake up a sleeping giant as they have a huge fan base.

It's also not a splash hire and I certainly expected Dan Snyder to go that route. Another good thing is it looks like Bruce Allen is out the door or atleast out of the football operations. If he really wanted to do it right he would hire the GM first and then the coach, unless they are promoting Eric Schaffer to President who has an excellent reputation around the league.

I gotta give credit. The Skins fanbase is lowkey one of the better travelling fanbases.

and I didn't stop rooting for the Skins because they were losing a lot. I had a friend whose son was treated unfairly, which I won't give any detail on and I couldn't morally root for that team anymore. It was really bad and it took me a while to make the change because I kept going back and forth. It was around mid season 2014 when I made the jump......both feet forward

Now I'm a bigger ravens fan than any of my redskins fans are fans of the "Potomac Drainage Basin"

The bolded part is what I specifically remember you telling me before about how you became a fan. Snyder and the rest of that FO seem like scum anyways so we're glad to have you on board. And seriously, let's avenge that 2016 loss next season.

without a doubt... I already have a place for the banner..

I have a bunch of Ravens merchandise in my man cave including autographs, fat heads and even a Ravens mini surfboard I bought in Cozumel. I still have a signed Taylor jersey in the basement. I'd like to replace that with a LJ signed jersey. My wife is cool and allows me to have this man cave sports room, because it also has the Nationals plaque and penant and capitals plaque. Absolutely no Patriots stuff allowed I told her!!!

I was at that game and so pissed at CJ Mosley for the fumble through the end zone and Perriman for not getting his foot in bounds. We need to pummel them and it will be my first time back at fedex field. Should be a pretty inexpensive game also...

That game had Trestman written all over it. As for Fedex field, that game better be a SEA of purple.
