Around the NFL: News and Rumors

So, apparently Browns coaches think that the GM purposely botched the trade for McCarron.

I didn't read the story, but I'd imagine it came down to the fact that CLE spent a second round pick on Kizer and the new regime loves picks, so why give up a second and third?

Could also be a sign that Jackson is on the way out because McCarron was drafted while Hue was in Cinci and the Browns may not want to have a Jackson picked QB for the new coach.

Technically yes but I'm glad he got beaten and ejected though. He's running his mouth too fucking much even since before got into the pros.
Imagine how bad it was when AJ Green, of all people, completely lost it?
Running your mouth isn’t cause for ejection

Things get worse for the Bengals. Apparently backup QB AJ McCarron filed a grievance with the team in regards to his status for next year. McCarron is set to become a restricted FA in 2018. Under current NFL rules, a player accrues a season that count towards FA if he were eligible to play for at least 6 regular season games. In 2014, the Bengals placed him on the NFI(Non - Football Injury) list in Camp due to a shoulder issue. AJ says he was healthy enough to come off the list in camp, the Bengals didn't add him to the active roster until December 2014. Meaning his rookie year didn't count as a year toward FA. McCarron of course is hoping he wins so he can become a unrestricted FA.

Wouldn’t surprise me if he wins this, fresh off the other trade deadline disaster

So Week 9 is almost done, and no coaches have been fired. Apparently before the season, the Owners turned off "Coach Firings" in the settings. Only way to explain why we have not had bad Head Coaches fired yet.

And my god there have probably been more coaches deserving of being fired at this point than previous years - have a feeling the high rate of injuries to star players is causing owners to be a little more hesitant and willing to accept excuses from head coaches...

Otherwise I have no idea why hue Jackson, Ben mcadoo among others have not been fired yet

I mean didn't Ramsey shove Green before Green pounced? Wasn't just the trash talk.
Instigating a fight that way also does not warrant ejection.
I didn't like him after I heard couple pre draft interviews but really started hating him after disrespect he showed to Steve Smith.
Dumbass.

Never said it warranted ejection. I was just pointing out that Ramsey wasn't innocent from wrongdoing and that Green didn't retaliate simply because of the trash talk
