Well, they're only on hook for half the money this year, but if they could get out of years 2 and 3, I bet a team would pick him up very quickly.
 
Vontae Davis has been cut by the Colts. He was scheduled to be a FA after the season, but he took a slight shot at Pagano and was cut a day later.

He said groin issues were the reason for his poor play this season.

At his age, given his play in previous seasons, no reason to believe he isn't snatched up.
 
Here we go again - Federal Court denied NFLPA's injunction on behalf of Elliott, NFL can now again impose 6 game suspension.
The best part, that dick Jerry Jones will again trash his office.

Unless more anonymous players come out, I wouldn't be. Seems to me that their FO is gonna stay the status quo.

Again, coaching has to be the most important thing in the NFL when it comes to the success of the team. 2 years removed from Tom Coughlin and the Giants are a mess, meanwhile in year one of the Coughlin era in Jacksonville, Tom Coughlin already instilled on the team the same toughness that helped lead him to 2 Super Bowl victories over the Patriots in New York. Their play shows it, and Coughlin is going to make the Jaguars a new contender in the AFC to deal with from this point on.

Without question, Reese has to go too. I know from time to time we criticize Ozzie, but Giants fans are even more critical of him and rightfully so. How many years does Eli have left on his remaining contract?

As for Coughlin, I agree. He's changing the culture of that team and, unfortunately, they seem to be on the up and up. With that defense, they will be a force to be reckoned with for years to come.

their only issue at this point is that they might have gotten too good a season too early - where are they going to get their franchise qb from? maybe they are the team who goes and gets kirk cousins next offseason...

Or Alex Smith. After all, he said that was his last season with the Chiefs which kinda surprised me.

yes that's true but conventional wisdom has thought that mahomes will need to sit probably another year too and alex smith is having one of the best years of his career - would be strange if he wasnt on the chiefs in 2018

Like the Evan Engram pick. Reese has avoided high picks for inside linebacker in I don’t know how many years and it is rare for him to trade up or down, oh don’t get me wrong, he does trade a bit, but he prefers to pick in his slot.
