Around the NFL: News and Rumors

Like the Evan Engram pick. Reese has avoided high picks for inside linebacker in I don’t know how many years and it is rare for him to trade up or down, oh don’t get me wrong, he does trade a bit, but he prefers to pick in his slot.

cant believe that they didnt go oline or ilb this year - especially given the players on the board

Colts QB Andrew Luck is not going to play in 2017, but he has traveled to Europe for treatment but no word what type of treatment he is getting. Peyton Manning in 2011 traveled to Europe for stem cell treatment on his neck. The way I see it, Colts are going to let him go due to his lingering shoulder injury, and some team will sign him and he'll end up being healthy and having a career like Drew Brees. Or his shoulder issues will linger and he'll have to retire extremely early and be one of the biggest what ifs in NFL history.

If he has to retire early it would be a real shame. I’d take a chance on him, but not sure he’d make it through waivers. There are teams that could take a chance in him and let him heal up for another year while riding the current qb.

We unfortunately are not in position to take a chance in him.

Per Bleacher Report
Owners are going to try and force Jerry Jones to sell the cowboys due to clash with Cowboys

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...ortedly-discussed-by-owners-over-goodell-saga

oh wow - not sure itll happen - at worst the franchise gets officially sold to his son who runs it (like he has most of the time) and jerry gets employed as the team president or gm or something

wouldnt it be crazy though if they forced jerry to sell and then didnt approve any other members of the jones family as owners... i imagine you might even get some owners who would want to sell their own franchise to grab the cowboys

it would be a massive powerplay on top of the recent contract extension in support of the commish too given the whole zeke palava and the next cba coming up and especially given jerrah's status in the league

Not a chance in hell this happens and I could see some owners wanting to purchase the Cowboys and sell their franchise, but doubt it would happen.

My god tell me about it. Although I thought the Fabre will he or won’t he was ridiculous. Different kind of saga.

at least im interested in the background politics and the potential collusion that surround the kap saga but deflategate was ridiculous, boring and made not a jot of difference to anything and it paved the way for this more tiresome more odious saga to happen which is far less tasteful and the length and dryness and sheer ridiculousness of this saga are actually taking away from the original issue and detracting from the football too
