They'll also take a good one or two in draft and have to figure out what to do with Nelson - he is also way too expensive for what he can do, by the looks.

yeah i just figure that nelson will be more amiable to a lower yearly average with a team-friendly extension and he's a better player than randall cobb in that offence

No question there. We all so what happened to cobbs stats when Nelson was injured a couple seasons ago.
 
Apparently in Houston, its a battle of Head Coach vs GM. Texans are supposed to make some changes following Sunday but no word on whether O'Brien goes or if GM Rick Smith goes.

Also Im guessing Gruden told Tampa no. Reports were flying that it was set and done for Gruden to return to Tampa. Now Bucs have told Dirk Koetter he is safe for 2018.

Based on how good the Texans looked with Watson on the team the Texans would be crazy to get rid of Bill O’Brien- if hue Jackson can win a power struggle in Cleveland then Bill O’Brien should easily be able to win a power struggle in Houston
 
Sidney Jones activated - no offence to marlon humphrey because he’s been a great pick but outside of lattimore (and maybe even above lattimore) Jones was my favourite cb in the draft pre-injury

Really happy for him. I was a big fan of his and actually liked him just as much as Lattimore and a plus is that Jones isn’t as injury prone. Ironically it’s Jones coming off injury, not Lattimore.
 
Chuck Pagano out as expected. Also one former Gruden team is out in Tampa. Jon Gruden isn't reuniting in Tampa but a reunion with the Raiders could be on the way.

Raiders expected to make Jon Gruden a big offer including ownership in the team to lure him back to coach the Raiders. Del Rio is out now.
 
Gary Kubiak expected to be promoted to a prominent Front Office role in Denver. So much for his coaching return.

So a coach that has gone 1-31 (assuming he loses to the steelers as expected) is somehow safe despite underwhelming coaching and no clear improvements in team play despite overall good play by lots of individual players

This just seems crazy to me... am I wrong?

It's not crazy at all. It's the Browns. Remember their "arrow is going up."

I think you are because Hue has had a really positive development on a lot of their younger offensive players and gotten a lot of good from the skill positions. He came in with practically no talent from the prior regime and their drafting was awful. Give him a real QB before we say he needs to be ousted.
