That's ok, they weren't going to be our targets, but this could increase the prices of other options.

Once again...fuck the Dolphins!

idk how they're gonna fit this contract under the cap unless they can get him to sign a long term deal - unless they maybe cut tannehill (who i think is cuttable for only about $5 mill dead cap) which would open up the cap space for them to stomach this deal - the dolphins have less cap space than the ravens even...

It's now official, they have officially tagged Landry with the Franchise Tag.

Besides we all know Calvin Ridley will be our guy anyway, who needs Landry or Robinson when we have a WR from Alabama.

If this fucks up their cap space, I'm all for it. I wonder if Jarvis will actually sign the tag though. Just in my opinion, but it may seem that he wants out.

EDIT: Disregard this irrelevant ass post.

Staying in the AFC East, the Jets are considering a huge offer to Kirk Cousins that would include $60M guaranteed in the first year.

HOLY SHIT! Don’t know if this has been posted here yet but the Captain Kirk auction could be unreal!

interesting takes - if im honest i didnt agree with the conclusion given the contracts - based on those offers id have to think that the 3 contenders are the Jets, Browns and Vikings

the browns money would be unbelievable and would reset the market so high i think cousins would be able to stay the highest paid qb (purely due to cap space) for maybe 2 seasons rather than just the 1 that's usual - also the amount of cash in year 1 from that browns deal and the jets deal is something he'd struggle to blink at

the vikings might be the best of the "contenders" actual playoff pedigree (like the jags) but with a better cap space situation - the jags might be an option but personally id take the vikings first if their yearly average and guarantees are similar

if that's really the best offer the broncos can give then no way he goes to denver no matter how sweet elway's talking is - the only way they get the cap space to give him an extra year/higher avg/more guarantees might be to cut wrs which would make them even less attractive - if elway pulls off the premier FA QB signing again then he's a genius
