Apparently a QB heavy draft class, but I'll believe it when I see it... Let's see who actually comes out first... and how well they actually project to the NFL
QB potential options in the '27 class include:
Arch Manning
Dante Moore
Julian Sayin
LaNorris Sellers
Brendan Sorsby (we know he's coming out)
Trinidad Chambliss
CJ Carr
In terms of non-QBs, here are a couple of big names:
Jeremiah Smith, WR - talked about as a genuine blue-chip prospect at WR - the next in a long-line of Ohio State "generational" prospects supposedly
Leonard Moore, CB - flashed on the 2025 tape, and locked up most of the 2026 draft WRs when I watched them against Notre Dame - this dude looks like a legit blue-chip guy
both those guys are probably top 5 picks (at worst) in the 2026 draft
other guys who flashed on tape I watched for 2026:
A'Mauri Washington, DT - was sad he decided to go back to school - had him as a late 1st/early 2nd type guy already - has a chance to lock a 1st round grade if he continues to develop
Trevor Goosby, OT - might have been my OT1 in a weak tackle class if he'd declared but decided to go back to school and that was probably the right choice developmentally, but he probably would have made a ton of money and got a high draft slot in the 2026 class
Jamari Johsnon, TE - the better Oregon TE in my opinion - i liked this guy more than Kenyon Sadiq
some other names bandied about early:
Cam Coleman, WR
Ryan Williams, WR
I often see these 2 EDGEs talked about a lot - Stewart seems to run hot and cold but has cool movement skills and great length
Dylan Stewart, EDGE
Colin Simmons, EDGE
Jordan Seaton, OT
David Stone, DT
Jordan Ross, DT
