What injury did he get? I was excited watching him in the preseason, glad we were able to get him back on the PS but we may need him on the active roster now... like cut Mike Davis or Tylan Wallace or whoever lol. It's nice to get Bridges back on the PS. He had a strong stretch and then went silent, but also showed there's at least something there to work with and see if you can pull out some consistency. I'm sure they would have liked to have had him on the PS all along but the injury and surgery prevented that, so nice to get him back in house. Low expectations though.
I vote outside hire, we don’t have the horses within to shift this offense in the direction we’re all hoping formaybe we can bring in a QB coach or WR coach from another team that is a rising star in this league, from some of the top offensive schemes. I also wouldn't mind giving James Urban a chance.
I'm not so sure about that. Urban was a very good WR's coach with the Bengals before coming here. Now I don't know who else is available, I'm just saying he should be given an interview.I vote outside hire, we don’t have the horses within to shift this offense in the direction we’re all hoping for
it will absolutely be a done deal if this happens.we can’t celebrate Greg Roman’s departure until *** reports that he’s staying, then we’ll have confirmed he’s leaving

I know its unlikely but I'd also like to see us part ways with Harbs. It just feels like a good time for a fresh start. Assuming we bring Lamar back long term, that gives the new coach and Lamar 3-4 years guaranteed to figure out the direction of the team. Harbs has been great, but the team feels stagnant. I would love for an injection of youth. If Roman leaves, it would make sense to add fresh ideas to the organisation and that's not going to come from in-house.
Urban and Martin and probably Dubb too will all get opportunities to interview for the job but I'd be surprised if we didn't look to outside the organisation for our next OC if Roman does leave.

Brian Callahan- Bengals OC
Kellen Moore- Cowboys OC
Shane Steichen- Eagles OC
I doubt it happens, I'm sure the Ravens will let John finish out his current contract, but I wouldn't be opposed to the youth movement to inject some new life into the staff,
I think we can all agree, John was on his way out if not for a very brave pick by DeCosta and Lamar balling out his rookie and sophomore year. The team had gone stagnant under John and Joe. Fans were frustrated and attendance was down. I cant help but feel were approaching a similar spotJohn Harbaugh been The Ravens head coach for quite some time I think naturally fans like to see more youth or change just cause Harbaugh been around so long. Look how some Ravens fans started to get tired of Wink after he was so loved at one point. Gary Kubiak is only still loved to this day cause he lasted one year as The Ravens offensive coordinator. Outside of John Harbaugh being 60 years old alot of his position coaches are pretty young some are in their 30's or 40's. He's oldest coordinator right now is Greg Roman whom I think just turned 50 years old.

EDC may not have been GM, but it was his move. It had already been decided he was taking over as GM and Lamar doesn't get drafted if he didn't sign off.Decosta wasn't the general manager at the time when The Ravens drafted Lamar Jackson. Maybe it was a brave move but obviously that tells me The Raven felt like Joe Flacco was the problem and John Harbaugh wasn't. Obviously that was true cause Flacco currently is a back up quarter back and hasn't really been a full starting quarterback since his Ravens days. I don't this year compares to previous year when it was clear Joe Flacco just wasn't the guy anymore

Your right, but its no secret Decosta's influence was stronger towards the end of Ozzie's tenure. It wouldn't surprise me if Ozzie's last draft was completely Decosta led.Decosta wasn't the general manager at the time when The Ravens drafted Lamar Jackson.
Well we don't draft coaches in waiting so well never know.Maybe it was a brave move but obviously that tells me The Raven felt like Joe Flacco was the problem and John Harbaugh wasn't. Remember we started that year 4-2, then the tuck missed PAT vs NO after Flacco lead the team down the field for a last second touchdown. He wasn't playing poorly, he just wasn't special. I'd say that's a very fitting description for Lamar's play as well this year. That was never my original point though. Just that fact that there is a very negative vibe around the team in the final Flacco/Harbs years just as there is right now. Almost as if the fans and organization know we have peaked with this current unit and the disappointing end is forgone conclusion. A shake up is required to fix that IMO. Last time it was Flacco, this time it should be Harbs. We got some great years out of him, but change/progress are inevitable.I don't this year compares to previous year when it was clear Joe Flacco just wasn't the guy anymore
Yea but pressure rates ......upsetting that our linebacker who fell to us because he couldn't get any sacks can't get any sacks lol
I think he will pop off in year 4 and then go sign a mega contract being an Allstar somewhere else but don't expect much from him on the ravens.

Well, not really. Three years late means 2015, and 2014 was probably Joe's best season as a Pro. 2015 he was injured.Ravens were around 3 years late with QB change.

Wasn't really until about '16-'17 before he figured out he wasn't going to improve. And because of the colossal failure that was the original contract, he was always going to be a Raven until at least 2017 realistically.
