Signings, Cuts, Trades

So Carr gets benched , Adam’s said he only went to Vegas to be with Carr… sounds like some interesting trade scenarios could occur next season. Adam’s to Baltimore let’s go!!
Only way Adams goes is if they plan to go full rebuild for multiple years there, which shouldn't be entirely out of the question. But that cap hit would be a heavy burden the next 2 years if they moved on. So it's likely he's staying.

especially given how cheap mark davis is lol
he doesnt want to be paying for players not to play there - he's already paying enough to a coach

I disagree , he is very tradable for the Raiders. Not ideal for them obviously ,but the new team is looking at 24M a year for Adam’s. That’s doable in Baltimore …. Unfortunately that seems unlikely unless we’re not resigning Roquan or Lamar

If Adam’s wants out because of Carr, their hands are tied. Tough situation

LV would take additional money on the cap to get rid of him. He literally just signed a mega deal. Not super easy to get out of those without ramifications.

Another swing and miss by EDC

A 6th round pick so not really to me

But wild that he could terminate his own contract. Had no idea that was a thing.
He didn’t last the year and couldn’t get activated with JK, Gus, and Hill dealing with injuries. I don’t see any other way to view other than a failure

Yeah it’s a failure but he just did what most sixth round picks do
Because he’s a 6th round pick
Right he’s a 6th round pick , who usually don’t become impact players . Now imagine if we took that 6th and 4th and etc etc and packaged something to move up in the draft to grab another WR . Instead we got Kolar who can’t get on the field , Davis who can’t get on the field , a punter that’s struggling, and RB that voluntarily ejected himself from an NFL roster with no guarantee of landing another gig. I mean that’s what’s all 6th round picks do right ? Y’all can down play it but it’s all party of a bigger issue with EDC.

we also got a franchise C, what looks to be a young star at S, a solid young NT, a developmental OT who's already ahead of his learning curve, a small-school TE who has shown flashes of potential

the whole point is that it's a lottery which is why those extra picks matter
maybe that 6th rounder becomes tyler badie, or maybe it becomes bradley bozeman or deshon elliott or chuck clark but you get more chances to get those 3 guys if you make more picks... in 2018 we had 8 picks in day 3 of that draft... we could have packaged some away but then maybe we only end up with kenny young, jaleel scott, jordan lasley, greg senat and we miss out on anthony averett, deshon elliott, bradley bozeman and zach seiler (who wasnt successful here)

and you're judging this class and building a narrative on 1 6th round pick, a 4th round punter and corner and a couple of rookies who have played 5 snaps between them because they're working back from injuries...

ojabo and kolar arent guys "who cant get on the field" because they cant stay healthy - these were injuries they had pre-season and both missed out on the entirety of training camp

Super easy to say that in hindsight. You’re never going to hit on every pick in a draft. If you did, you’d probably win the SB every year. Shit happens.
