Signings, Cuts, Trades

I’m not sure I would trade a 2nd if they ate almost all the remaining contract, a 3rd for that. However a 2nd for a rental who will leave is crazy.

Name a 2nd or 3rd round pick that is a RB that will give us the same production as Henry or Jacobs. Our front office lives in the stone age... not saying we need to do what the Rams did but come on now.
 
At this point I’m kind of Saquon/Burns or bust. Not really a fan of Jacobs

Josh Jacobs isn't really playing all the well this year. I think last night game was his best game but before then the guy was averaging 2.9 yard per carry that's not really worth a second round pick in this climate where running backs aren't valued like that

Getting 3YPC… ya just about any 2nd or 3rd or UFA. RBs with mileage are not that valuable. CMac is more than a RB but he is 1 of 1 and his injuries ironically give him less mileage.

I'm not trading a 2nd for a guy with a 3.1 avg. I thought the idea was to get someone better than Gus

Neither RB is going to get enough money to qualify for a 3rd comp (basically a high 4th). At best you are getting a 5th round comp for either, and that is a maybe.

To his defense that offense is broken and their QB is terrible, he’d kill it with Lamar. But if this is a one year rental I don’t like it, considering he could get hurt

Wouldn't both Henry and Jacobs, or even Saquon all be rentals? So what's the difference?
