I agree that Kirk is better than Flowers but the gap between a top 25-30WR and a top 30-40WR is nowhere near the size of the gap between a top 3TE and top 10 TE.

That inconsistency from Etienne is the problem with him though. He is not a scrub. I think he is better than Harris but I also think Harris is overrated RB who should get minimum carries in the league. Etienne is right now a slightly below average RB in this league. He needs to improve his vision in order to improve his consistency. Hopefully he can do that in the offseason, year 3 jumps are not rare for RBs, but for now he still has a lot to work on and will get better later but for now is just a guy.

to be honest I dont watch the Jags enough to fully argue with you but I have him on two fantasy teams and holy shit does he eat. I rarely have respect for receiving backs as I often feel there targets and short catches are replacement level (ie any NFL running back who got that volume could do so) but Travis is a guy who can make game breaking plays from dump offs which is insanely valuable in tight games and postseason football. I disagree hes below average, I think he is right around #10 for me.

I looked at his stats after this and he has far less receiving yards than I would have guessed, I hope he continues to improve he is a fun player to watch (and I’m a hater when it comes to non ravens)

Heard from someone I know is in the know that the Ravens were almost exclusively big game hunting (particularly RB and Edge) at the deadline and none of the targets were actually available unless you were willing to pay big. They’re incredibly comfortable with their depth and rotations as they stand but would have moved if the opportunity to add a premiere player presented itself again.

Basically, they were casting a wide net and aiming for a difference maker. Not just another depth guy to add to a rotation.

Barkley would’ve been the difference maker we are looking for. The injuries scare me though, he definitely seems prone to it

Crazy. They trade washington a high 2nd (essentially first round pick) for Sweat and then pay a 27 year old edge rusher 72m in guaranteed money. I believe they will realize this was a mistake very soon.

I don’t know how good Sweat (or really Chase Young) are, but I’m confused why the Redskins would be so eager to trade away top talent when they’re not even paying a QB

they couldn't pass up a high 2nd, essentially a first and I believe Chase Young and management had already gone their separate ways.

I would have kept Young over Sweat at this point and Young has a ton of upside. Sweats best years are most likely behind him.
