Signings, Cuts, Trades

He needs to learn how to wrap up, tackle. That and he’ll probably fill out some, still pretty young.
I was concerned with his tackling coming in, but he proved to be among the surest tacklers we have. This is not what I’d be harping on with starks. You might be thinking of Gilman

I put faalele in the taylor mays class.. guys that were just on the field day dreaming. Vorhees too but he gets a pass for now..
Somebody like you who watches every defensive player like a hawk, daring them to make a mistake or two so you can call them ass, is giving one of the worst starting players from this past season a PASS?!?!?! How Sway?!??!?!?

I’m tired of mfs gaslighting saying vorhees was worse. Idgaf what the nerd stats suggest, faalele had 2 whole uninjured seasons of garbage play, vorhees recovers from an injury and takes his first nfl snaps and is on par with faalele, he’s automatically better.

And vorhees losses plain and simple weren’t as bad as faalele’s.

oh they were definitely as bad as faalele's for the most part
it's just that faalele always looked sillier and people were looking out for his losses more

if faalele wasnt on this team, people would be out here calling vorhees a terrorist

You didn’t watch Vorhees then

Guys, they were somehow remarkably similar in how bad they were. Maybe that was just Warhop with Monken's inability to adapt that caused them to look like that because they're bad.

But Faalele will always look stupider because he's big and lumbering. Plus he had some snaps (like 2 or 3) where he looked like he didn't know what play we were running.

Lmaooo, see this was faalele 2nd year. I knew he was ass and was expecting him to be bad again but he ended up being even worse than i thought….. vorhees wont be starting this season …but if he did and exceeded expectations of being terrible, he would go on the list also

idk i think the top 2 were defo worse than faalele
and i think it's a toss up for 3rd place on that list
When you factor in price tag, Villanueva was about as bad as it could possibly be.
Faalele and Vorhees were dirt cheap. There's worse Olineman on the roster and definitely throughout the league but nobody knows that because they never see the field.

So with the last part, I agree. Faalele's bad is worse than Vorhees bad in my opinion. The difference is Faalele's best is >>> Vorhees presently. Vorhees I think has more long term upside.

Faalele has the higher ceiling, but a lower floor. So then it just comes down to what do you want from your Oline. Higher upside with inconsistency, or consistently below average.

It’s the opposite based on film. Faalele was consistently bad this year. Doesn’t mean there weren’t nice reps and awful reps, but he never really had an extremely good game nor an extremely bad game.

Vorhees on the other hand had those extremes. That game before the bye, he looked like a superstar. There was a game before that where I have no idea how he wasn’t benched. It was one of the worst whole game performances I’ve seen. He’s shown a much higher upside but also a much larger downside.

And I get why Vorhees still here - he’s put together a couple of insanely good games in his short career. Get him with an actual OL coach and see if you can make that more consistent. With Faalele, it seems like the ceiling was hit and there’s not much room for growth.

Sounds like the Ravens have put some pressure on Njoku as of a couple of days ago. They would like to get something done (either formally or informally) before the draft if at all possible, because they're also prepared to draft a couple of guys at TE and move on from the idea of Njoku entirely. Ball is in his court.
and they will only lose a 5th round comp pick tbh with an Njoku signing.

yes and no tbf

faalele's pass blocking highlights are far and beyond what vorhees is putting out there
when we talk about the run game, vorhees had highlights that suggested he could get where faalele can't

but faalele definitely had the higher highlights in pass pro

I was looking from a more overall perspective, but yes agreed to some extent. Think what Faalele put on tape in 2024 was far better than 2025 either way. 2025 was certainly not a good look top to bottom for him.
