Wow I come here and learn Watson is a Brown

I’m actually I think in the minority? I don’t think this makes a huge difference. I don’t think they suddenly are a playoff and Super Bowl contender. If anything this could severely hamper them for years without any draft picks in the first. We will see if this works out for them but I’ve never been majorly impressed by Watson. He’s good but I never thought he was great. I don’t think he is any better than even Lamar. He’s got better touch with the ball than Lamar though but we will see if that lasts or not.

I dont think youre in the minority. Even Browns fans, from what Ive read personally, arent impressed.

I'm not even saying he's not. But I think there's a group of like 8-10 QBs that are practically all the same. And he's one of them.

You'd have a hard time selling anybody that he's significantly better than Burrow, or Herbert, or Lamar, or Stafford, or Wilson. And I haven't even mentioned the likes of Mahomes, Allen, Rodgers, Brady, etc.

Just cause YOU forgot his skill set doesn't mean he fell off. Dude has it all accuracy, arm, speed, heart, and most of all LEADERSHIP. This is the worst case scenario for every AFCN rival. I'm not happy and neither should any of us be. Touché Brownies...Touché

Watson is notorious for being like Lamar. Holding on to the ball too long and taking way too many sacks. He's very athletic but doesn't have the production that Lamar has on the ground. He obviously has a little more in the air but that's what happens with more passing attempts.

Watson is very good but has a lower ceiling compared to Lamar Imo. So not really a question of if he's a good player he is. But was he worth all those picks and that amount of money. I personally say no way

Watson is a great player.
He has similar issues to Lamar with respect to holding on to the ball too long.
He's a good runner not great like Lamar.
He's got the better arm compared to Lamar right now.
His ceiling isn't quite as high as Lamar's.
That trade and contract was too rich for my blood.

Only the last 2 are even up for debate.
