Signings, Cuts, Trades

Apparently Z’e agent is from Baltimore. I wonder who else this agent represents from us. Gotta burn a bridge from this mess lol

Ooft no wonder they don’t think they can salvage it - they had a deal twice and they fucked them around twice

Got to draw a line

They fucked around... and found out

Hopefully he comes back with his tail between his legs lol

I’m not sure the ravens would take him back at this point

Same thing they did with Bozeman - if you don’t walk away then guys have no incentive not to test the market

I’d love him to come back here but feels like the bridge is burned for good

Per Brian McFarland, Marcus Williams year 1 cap hit is just slightly above $4.0M, which is about half of what I'd thought it would be.

Really am not a big fan of the $11M increase from 2023-2024, but at least it flattens out after that.

It’s an interesting structure but assuming he plays well and that option year is picked up, this looks like a prime deal to be redone after year 3 with probably a restructuring to come for that year as well.

I mean I'm probably not restructuring after year 3, because if you're willing to pay him in year 3, its flat in year 4 and 5. If they're going to restructure, they'll do it prior to year 3, when his base salary jumps from $1M to $12M.

I don't hate the 2022 cap hit that much, I'm just highly surprised they went so low in 2023.

That’s what I meant. Restructure for year 3 and a candidate to be redone after that. The signing bonus is low so there’s a lot of wiggle room there. No surprises but they opted to guarantee years 1 and 2 base salary and part of year 3 so quite flexible to rework.

Glad to get Ricard back. Obviously the market wasn’t there for him so nice to have a key piece back even if those snap counts at actual FB have been dipping.

Hell yea Project Pat!

Also outside of the minimum type guys, I think Campbell is probably the only one left I’d like to retain if possible. Maybe Houston but that depends on what else we do at OLB.

I am glad Project Pat is back in the fold. He belongs to the Ravens because he is best utilized in Baltimore. Great signing imo.

Let’s be real. He is ONLY used in Baltimore. Everywhere else he’s put in at the goal line or 4th and inches. Great blocker but no need for him on 31 other teams

I just hope Roman gets his head out of his ass and utilizes him how he did against Minnesota

PROJECT PAT! So happy to hear this, lost in all the free agency talk and we got him back. Again, we are the only ones who would use him the way we do. Glad we kept him.

Why though? There’s no reason for Roman to change when he’s given excuse after excuse for being a sucky ass signal caller
