Signings, Cuts, Trades

https://ravenswire.usatoday.com/2020/04/22/tampa-bay-bucaneers-oj-howard-trade-baltimore-ravens/

Here's a good article about the possibility. I honestly think we could get him for a 5th, which would make sense considering this draft isn't very TE heavy
In my not-so-humble opinion, if the Bucs were willing to trade OJ Howard for a 5th round pick, he would have been gone before they even signed Brady, and certainly by now.

There's probably 25 teams in the league that would give up a 5th round pick for him.

He's under team control for 2020 at about $2M for whatever team would trade for him, he's got a 5th year option available for next year which won't be prohibitively expensive, and even then, I don't think he'll even fair that well on the open market at that position. I think he would sign for less than $10M a year.

I think the reason TB hasn't traded him is because they're seeking, at least, a day two draft pick for him.

I don't think he goes for less than a 3rd

Do you guys think that if we were to trade Judon, tomorrow would be the best time to do so?

not much point getting that value post-draft - might be hard to accomplish though given he wouldnt be able to do a physical possibly before the draft happens

True. If he’s not traded by tomorrow, he’ll play out the year on the tag, me thinks. How were we able to give Calais a physical though?

I honestly think it’s too late now tbh - someone would have to make us an offer that would blow us away - would basically have to give us enough draft capital to replace him in the draft (or similar) otherwise why would we do it?

For a very selfish reason of mine........SIIE

This is something I said a while ago. Tony Pauline works for PFN and I'm not sure how likely they are to break a big story, but here we are nonetheless.

Also, apparently the Jags are looking at getting Raiders pick 19 for Yannick Ngakoue or however you spell it. The Jags want 12, but the Raiders only want to relent 19. If I'm DeCosta seeing that, I'm trying hard to sell Judon because I think he's a more well rounded player.

If jags might get 12 for ngakoue then swooping in and getting 19 for judon would be an outrageous manoeuvre - I’ve been on the keeping judon bandwagon since free agency but if we could finagle a first then absolutely you do that deal

Frankly I was in the 'trade Judon for a high draft pick' camp. Now, I just want to have him solidify one side with experience and knowledge about our defense.

Yeah, unless we can get really good value for trading him then it's probably best to just keep him on the tag, at this point. Even if we're able to draft a replacement for him then there's no telling how the pandemic is going to affect our rookies' preparation for the season and I'd feel much more comfortable knowing that we still have a solid player out there who already knows our defense.

If we can trade him for a high 1st and sign Clowney to a 1 year, 13 mill deal, I’d kiss EDC.

You'd be last in a long line to kiss the ring of his eminence! If that were to happen. And with that pick we got for Judon, add it to the #28 and move up to pick CeeDee Lamb or Jerry Jeudy...

But, it isn't happening my dear hopefully hopeless friend.

Alright bruh, yes we're co-founders of the RFSA (RavensFlock SIIE Association), but I will never go to that level LMAO. Please review and re-evaluate your post for me.
