Cut both tackles to sign guards, when your qb has the deepest pocket in nfl history and your offense relies entirely on that functioning.

I mean... it is like day 1 of FA. Do you think they're not going to address the Tackle position at all? Likely to be a high priority in the draft also.
Tackle wasn't the only spot on the line where they needed upgrades either...
lol - tbf he looked great in the 1 half of football he played in 2019...
but there's absolutely no reason why the jets should even remotely consider it unless they get major value back because they lose cap space by trading him...

I think it's mostly because they signed Jarrad Davis that this is a consideration at all.
But with that being said, the Jets have a ton of cap space so it wouldn't be too bad for them if they got the right offer and they could get out of the contract.
