Well, it looks like it's time to put Lamar on the blocks... What could this team do with that kind of draft capital?! That is insane for a guy who could be summarily suspended depending on how any ONE of those cases goes. Laugh, scoff... Lamar, as much as I like the guy, he'd be packing his bags.

...and admittedly, that trade/deal could turn out to be a Babe Ruth kinda curse. I'd take the chance.

He’s basically the incumbent starter next to queen and the guy who played the most snaps on 3rd down and was the linebacker in dime packages...

With no bynes he would have been set to be the starter...

We’ve got a lot of special teams to replace now

My nightmare is that this is all the justification they need to keep Boykin

With that kind of draft capital we’d probably have to package it all together to trade up for a QB in 2023 and hope to get a QB who might one day have a chance to be as good as Lamar is right now at only 25 yrs old
 
Sad that Board is leaving, but always seemed to be a guy that got defensive opportunities and then lost them over and over again. We'll miss him much more for ST reasons.

But regardless, need to add some ILB depth now. Hopefully we can retain Bynes and/or Fort at the very least. Queen and Welch (and depending on how you count him - Harrison) the only guys on the roster currently.

I wouldnt even be against that tbh.. i mean idk how good davis and obajo are but id like to see ravens taking risks like that.

Did I miss something with Harrison? Why is everyone super down on him?

I imagine any transition may have been somewhat hindered by being shot...

Although I’ve never understood the OLB stuff with him because I never saw a ton of rush skills on tape but happy for him to prove me wrong... he’s got a pretty decent frame for it and we know he’s not afraid of sticking his nose in in the running game

Gotcha. Makes sense now. I don’t see him as an OLB and I never had high expectations for the guy tbh but hopefully he can at least play well on ST until the end of his contract

I think he'd be more of an Albert McClellan type than a true edge rusher. Sure he'll try to get the QB on occasion but his job is more to hold that edge and stick his nose in there. As you mentioned, we know he can do that and they might see a way to squeeze some value out by limiting him to one side of the field in a way. He flashed, but looked completely lose sideline to sideline last year.

I didn't quite have him that high but still did really like him. Sad because you've seen the flashes in his 2 years so far, but every time they give him more opportunity, he just falters. Guessing they're trying to squeeze value out of him as back end depth at 2 spots and a STer hopefully. But he needs to improve and improve fast if he wants to stick.

Andy Reid took Harrison to school, felt like he was isolated and victimized every time he took a snap
