Signings, Cuts, Trades

What chu mean?!?! It's the Raven Way! DEFENSE FIRST!

Now in all seriousness, you say you'll cry a little. I'll figuratively cry myself to sleep if we don't draft a playmaker in rounds 1 or 3.

We’re going CB 1st round, then bargain shop WRs in the 4th-7th rounds and call it a fix

Hollywood over Boldin? Are you kidding me?

Andrews is the only the one I got no issue with.

Hollywood is significantly better than Boldin. There is a reason Boldin only got a 6th and Hollywood got a 1st and it is because Hollywood is and was a far better player though Boldin was far better than anything the Ravens had as a WR until they drafted Hollywood though to be fair his only competition was a guy who could not find the ball.

This is a wild take. Didn’t Boldin win offensive rookie of the year? Eye test alone, Boldin was a alpha WR. While you see Lamar having to console Hollywood on plane rides after a 4 drop game. Also, their trade compensation was due to age. This gotta be a troll post. If so, touché lol

It's an extremely wild take that I am not going to entertain. No way he's talking about Q.

14th all time in receiving
9th All time in receptions

I think he means Slade Bolden

I think if you look closely Q’s best production for the Ravens came 2012 post season, coinciding with 2012 late season meniscus trim. He was pretty beat up during his time in Baltimore.

Mark Andrews is by far the best player out of any of those listed. I could pretty easily argue Hollywood is the second best and again certainly the best WR on that list (from a small sample size a healthy Bateman is likely 2nd best WR on that list though at least that is closer). Rice was great for a very short window but then fell off a cliff hard but outside of that no one on that list is close.
The offenses in 2011 and 2012 are the best weve had from a piece standpoint. Andrews gets fed a lot in our offense but Im not necessarily saying hes better than Pitta. Pitta wasnt as athletic but hes damn sure more reliable. Ray Rice is 1st or 2nd best back weve had. And he didnt fall off a cliff. He was injured in 13 and the OL played horribly. Fully expected him to to have one of his best seasons if not for the slip up in 14. Dont even need to detail the wr position. The OL was better all around as well.

A coaching change will give us better returns than trading our generational QB.

But I’m biased.

It’s either get rid of both (trade Lamar and fire Harbs) or keep Lamar and let Harbs go.

If we trade Lamar and keep Harbs.. I might tune out tbh
Now see, this is exactly how I feel too.

Not only is changing coaching the cheapest of the possible changes, it's the most expeditious.

I wanna see Lamar without the same. We know what Harbaugh and Roman offer, but we don't know what someone else would do. I'm often surprised at how quickly many people forget how disappointing 2013 was, how for a year - with a bona fide OC got us back on track, and then how a series of low level cast-offs lead to this team being very much like the poor product we see now for 1/2 to 3/4 of a game sometimes.

I'm not going to fire and try to hire a whole new FO. I'm not going to get rid of 15-20 players. That is far too much turmoil. The easiest access to seeing if we can get more out of what we presently have is to change coaching. I don't care how fast John Harbaugh is going to find a new gig - which has always been the funniest comeback to any discussion about changing coaches. That he would be snapped up by someone else is immaterial. What matters is a new approach to evaluate what we presently have talent-wise. This is really akin to what we went thru with Billick. He was great for the time he was here, but his time came to move on, imo.

This is pretty much how Ive felt. Said in the preseason if were going to reset hit a hard reset.

He was a freaking ball eating animal in the post season.

Duvernay has been flashing some of that toughness, hopefully he continues upward.
Its crazy to me that the offense feels like its regressed as the seasons gone on. Watching Duv make those catches against the Jets to now makes no sense to me. Same with Lamar. Was throwing lasers and now missing wide open guys downfield.

The way he been talking lately.. he might’ve talked his way into our price range
