Signings, Cuts, Trades

Yeah that’s because Rodgers can put a jumpball on target and carr isn’t nearly as capable… this isn’t hard.
Then why does the tape show him with less separation? More to the point if he can only catch it constantly with Rodgers throwing him the ball than he doesn’t belong in the same category as Hopkins, Hill, and CK who have shown they don’t need a top 5 QB to look great.

In Green Bay he caught in the last 2 years 73% and 77% of balls thrown his way so while they were forcing him the ball he was catching them at a rate that would put their QB among the best in the NFL for completion (which of course Rodgers was). Basically even forcing it to Adams he was completing more balls to Adams doing that then his average. That is not true for Carr.

On a Raiders highlight reel he looks great. In live action he looks very inconsistent. It is like watching Amari Cooper or a more Ravens slant a better version of Torrey Smith where they vanish for long stretches of time and then just make a couple plays so their highlight reel looks great after struggling all game.
I've watched plenty of live action and those drops are more due to Carr than Adams.

Hopkins I agree with.

Are you sure Kupp and Hill look great with all QBs, or are you sure they have high levels of separation because they've spent pretty much the entire career with high-level play callers who can get them open consistently?

Because I know Reid, McVay, and McDaniel are those guys.

Adams looks average at best without Rodgers? Huh? 5th in receptions, 3rd in yardage, and tied for the lead in TDs.

Can make a case that, given the downgrade in QB play, he's literally having the best season of his career.

all you have to do to see that adams fits in that top tier... is watch him play lol

Not surprised based on the visit last week. A good guy to bring in to see if you can unlock the potential, especially with Powers being a FA and Zeitler a potential cap casualty after the season. As always, low expectations, but a guy worth a dart throw on a PS for sure.

we did try and trade for him when he was initially traded to Arizona. For some reason the trade was denied. Would be interesting if we would offer him the money he wants. Of course Lamar Jackson would need to be extended for this to happen or traded for that matter.

Just curious where you saw the trade was denied.

I don't think Harbaugh is going anywhere, but if he does he will gets traded and we would end up signing Sean Peyton.
Would also point out that the Saints own Payton's rights for 2023, since he's still under contract.
So Payton coaching for anybody in 2023 would almost certainly require draft pick compensation to go to the Saints to do so.
