Signings, Cuts, Trades

Sean Payton will end up with one of the LA jobs if I had to guess. Chargers when they inevitably crash and burn or the Rams when McVay retires.

For a few snaps a game by the looks of things. Watson could rotate with him opposite Robinson. God, it's depressing just listing these names.
Agree. I'm beginning to think the Ravens just had too many holes to fill after last year and we forgot that . Was it even realistic of EDC and Harbaugh to believe all those ACL injured players would return quickly and in top form? They had to prioritize best they could going into the draft. Personally I thought they needed to draft a RB as well as a WR in higher rounds but they obviously chose to try and fix the defense. Not sure that even worked out. So once again they"ll be drafting from a middle position. Players like Proche are the obvious cuts. But the Ravens apparently have a lot of average players who will be harder to let go of. I don't see them blowing up the whole team so what's left??? Change coaches and hope a different chemistry and approach will make a difference? They tried to skate with a returning from big injuries run heavy offense and an extremely thin below average WR core and got burned. I can't believe they won as many games as they did.

I don't think the Ravens roster is in bad shape for next season overall. No roster's perfect but, with better coaching and WRs, we could be a contender.

If we have any money left after re-signings, I'd add the best veteran WR we can find. Then, in the draft, I'd split the first 3 picks between WR and CB then add a body to each of the lines.

Everyone get in here, WE SIGNED MICHAEL THOMAS! Oh... hold on. It's a different Michael Thomas, never mind. Go back to what you were doing, false alarm.

In all seriousness, I still feel like this move makes a ton of sense. Knows the system and can jump back in, and is likely better than the bottom of our depth chart and the PS options, even with his struggles this year.
