and not one of them is worth pick 14... Vega is definitely the closest of the 3 guys you listed

Proctor's more like a top 50 guy than a top 15 guy

Woods i dont even think is the best DL in the class, and again not a top 15 player for me
I'm hoping 14 might just about be in range to pick up a top player who falls and, if any do, we should grab them, whatever position they play.

Otherwise somebody is going to be "worth" the 14th pick, because it doesn't have a fixed value unfortunately. The entire league seems to be viewing picks in this year's first as less valuable than ever.

I like Vega because, if you pick a good player, you never really have to care about the value again. eg. I didn't support the Linderbaum pick, but once he was here as a solid center, while other teams got nothing from their firsts, it was never an issue. (At least until 5th year option/tag issues came up.)

He'll get a deal at some point. WR market is just moving slow this year.
Crazy how they weren't in on Michael Pittman given all Pittsburgh gave up was a 6th round pick. I'm sure we could have gave them a 5th or at least forced Pittsburgh to give up a higher pick to acquire him.

This is how I feel. If it’s a good starter and it fills a need, end of the day, you’ll be satisfied with it.

They had no interest in paying a guy like that $20M a year

Anyone else think that maybe John and Jim Harbaugh have been working together to pick off Ravens players?

Conspiracy alert !!!!

I despise the Harbaughs!

Yeah, I agree in that if we didn’t have Huntley this makes sense but I also think Richardson has a much higher ceiling and floor than Huntley. I would be in on this but the bigger problem is the salary not the draft pick or even roster spot

If it's cheap enough I don't mind kicking the tires on Richardson to see if he can improve. Remember how bad Willis was at first? There's a few QBs that looked awful at first, but improved a lot on a different team.

If he even gets a little better he'll be a good backup.

Man, what does Snoop need to do to get some respect around here. Dude's offense beat the Bears and Packers last year, probably two of our best wins. For me, the more he plays the better he gets.

I like Huntley, but good backups are always in demand, and he could get a bigger deal elsewhere after his current contract. Also having 3rd string QB that's decent can come in handy.
