Honestly I think this trade hurts the bengals. They gave up the 10th overall pick and now have to pay him . So long as we strengthen our interior o-line we shouldn't have anything to worry about from this trade. Although fuck Harbaugh for trading him to the AFC North
 
Hopefully this means we have full confidence in Mad coming back? Not saying we had to trade for Sexy Dexy but no Mad leaves a massive hole that’s gonna be difficult to fill

I don't think it's related at all at this stage. They've been moving as if he's not going to play either way.

And to be clear, that doesn't mean anything ominous. Just their MO for this situation where they'll make moves as if he's not and if he does, they're even better for it.
 
Didn't even think of it but Jeff just made a good point - Giants may now be a better destination for DJ Reader. This is why he was content to wait until after the draft. Probably more money and a bigger role to be had there.

I know we still have the draft and the team will probably make other moves but so far this off season has been very underwhelming. Besides picking up Henderson and the Safety from Patriots we have absolutely done nothing to fix both trenches. We have gotten worse on o-line by losing Linderbaum and besides Trey have done nothing for the D line either. Someone make me feel positive lol

If Maeds comes back that’s huge, and if Minter minus Orr can also elevate the defense than that’s huge too. But yea I agree, the Crosby trade left a bad taste and Hendrickson is not as good, hopefully he can still produce for us. I like that Patriots safety we got, could be lowkey a good move. Also losing Falelele and getting Simpson should be an improvement, especially the way we all talked about 77.
