Re-match from the season opener but 2 teams that have had very different seasons but have ended up in very similar situations.

This will be a major bellweather game going into a potential playoff run.

With the way the AFC playoff contenders all went this weekend this may be almost a first playoff game for the ravens. We're not out by any means if we lose but our chances of going to the playoffs if we win vs lose is like a 40% differential according to various predictors.
 
Yep this is where it really begins. December football!! Really hoping we get a good week of practice. A little nervous Dez has Covid. Hope it's isolated.
 
It absolutley sucks we are out of the AFC North Title picture right now but we can spoil the Browns chances of winning it and potentially their playoff hopes. I hope Dez is able to play, I'm a bit worried that the Browns passing attack will give us problems. Without the cancer known as OBJ, Cleveland's offense has gotten better and Baker has played better. I think it will be a close game but this just isn't our year, if we win it will be because of a Tucker game winning field goal. Hope I'm wrong we lose this game, but we can't afford to lose this game since our conference record is coming into play.
 
If dez was positive I’m assuming he’ll have to miss the browns game too???

would be within 10 days of the first inconclusive test I think

hope like hell that Campbell and Judon are back in full form, we need them desperately, LJ Forts return was felt last night and we need that kind of performance to stop Cleveland’s fun game, we need bowser, Queen, fort, Harrison, Clark, and Elliott to keep Jarvis Landry bottled up, that fucker has our number and he runs those short passes all the fuck over us and we need to make tackles, don’t worry about forcing fumbles from Landry, worry about the tackle ffs
 
I'm oddly really looking forward to this game. This should be a good test for us with the Browns firing on all cylinders right now. Not sure what the end result will be, but this is an opportunity to prove that we're playoff worthy. Really hoping that a full week of practice and additional recovery for the covid guys (especially in the front 7) really pays dividends.
 
For the love of god, go for the tackle first and only punch the ball if its there for the punching. I'm seeing way too much of that shit lately.
 
So by us keeping our playoff hopes alive, and of course it's no longer a given the Steelers win against the Bills. Just feels weird knowing that if Pittsburgh wins and we win against Cleveland, we help the Steelers clinch the AFC North. Though I'm not too worried as I have Buffalo beating them this week but just knowing our win could benefit the Steelers makes me sick.

The NFL needed some weird 2020 stuff to happen and I just take it that the Browns actually being good is the weird 2020 thing to happen. Then in 2021 when we go back to normal, they will go back to being their overhyped underachievers as we know them as.
 
So interesting that the offense in Cleveland has improved without OBJ. Without him in the line up they have really focused on the run game. Quality run game leads to more high percentage throws for Baker.

We need the big guys in the trenches to step up big this week to win. If Cleveland can get the run game going we’re toast

I feel like this is almost a must win if we want to make the playoffs. 10-6 might get us in but we'd need help. Particularly for the titans to win their division so we can have the tie breaker over the colts.

To win we gotta make open feild tackles, something weve been struggling with and our secondary has to step up big.

Should be a fun game...I mean nerve racking

It's a must win or we will need big help which we did not get last weekend.
 
Browns to be without CB Denzel Ward who will miss his third straight game. We have to take advantage of that in the passing game but knowing Greg Roman, we won't.
 
Browns run game is pretty great. And not just because of Chubb. Very dynamic O Line...will pull from anywhere. WR's block great...tons of wrinkles. I even saw them run counter with Landry as a lead block in motion. Pin/Pull , power out of the I ...lots of nuanced assignment shifts
Under center makes play action a real thing. We need more under center reps to make our play action game effective.

This could be a tough one

Yet we need this game bad . I honestly feel we need to win out to make the playoffs this year. 10-6 will require major help

Their run defense is just as weak as ever with or without ward, and our run game is what works.

to hell with attacking their backup cb, run the ball, don’t get cute, win the game, run the table.
