1st quarter will tell me everything. Unfortunately, I think G-Ro is gonna be on that bullshit. Prolly the hype is gonna be between the 2 QBs so they're gonna try and make a statement and have Lamar outgun Baker.

With andrews? And dobbins? And our OTs(when they’re healthy)? And a legit 4.2 receiver who when he’s on his game is an excellent route runner with sure hands?

shit dobbins and andrews alone would make this an all time kubiak offense, Lamar’s bootlegs and just the threat of the bootleg would make it even more lethal.

With a healthy OL then fine. If he was our playcaller going into this season, then I agree this offense would be something....
 
Oh hell no.... nope not again. Bills can clinch a playoff spot IF we LOSE to the Browns. First the Bengals, now the Browns. Not this time Buffalo.... clinch a playoff spot on someone else's misery this time. Now I REALLY want to win this game even more.
 
If we lose to the Browns, I think there's actually a good chance they win the division. After us they play the giants, jets, and steelers. The NFL is crazy and week to week so I'm not going to gift them any wins, but I'll say if they best us, they could very well go into the final week against Pitt 12-3.

Pitt has Cincy, indy, and clevland. I think Pitt beats Cincy, I don't know what happens in indy. As you can see if the Browns beat us and they get some help by Pitt with a loss to indy, the final week decides it. If at the end they have the same record idk who will win. All I know is this feels a lot closer than anyone probably imagined.

If we beat Clevland, I think it'll be too hard for them to win the division. I looked over some of the statistics over the season. They've given up a ton of points. They've also scored a lot of points. If we can play a solid game on D and Lamar has a smooth opening drive where he get into a Rhythm, I think we'll win. If we let Chubb run all over us and Lamar has one of those first halves where you're just like wtf and we need to scramble in the second to stay alive, I'm writing it off as L.

I really hope Ingram is not used tonight. He is a major liability right now and expect 2nd and 8 or 9 yards if he’s in there .
Dobbins must start , with Edwards coming in after.

I’m not sure our front seven is up to the task. I expect our coaches to shit the bed again and dial up early runs to Ingram and get us in a hole quick.

I am with you. We haven't put together drives. we aren't explosive. Why would we start now? Need some stuff to go our way...could be inspiration? Browns are a better team. I do think Mayfield is due to turn the ball over and that Ngakoue may have success against a rookie which might play a part.
We seem unable to win close games...close out with a lead or play catch up.

Agree. We have to somehow stop their rushing offense early to make Baker throw. We can't afford to play catch up otherwise they'll run all over us. Queen has to step up.

Pittsburgh would most likely win any tiebreaker with Cleveland for a division title. If they split head-to-head, it'll go to divisional record.

Assuming Pittsburgh beats Cincinnati, they would only have one division loss. Cleveland already has two.

Game will be won or lost by how we defend the play action pass. Cleveland runs on everybody, so like I'm not assuming that we'll be able to just shut down their running game. Its similar to Tennessee... they can run for 100-150 yards, but that doesn't mean they'll dominate.

If we play on defense like we did against Tennessee, which is getting play faked to death and giving up chunk plays in the passing game, we're going to get beat. If we play disciplined, I think we'll have a good shot to clamp down in the red zone and keep them out of the end zone.

On offense, the problem I see is that Cleveland is pretty much content letting teams throw on them. They're not real good in pass coverage, but they've committed to stopping the run. Not ideal for us.

I still like us to win a close game, mostly because I think we'll get pressure on Baker and make him uncomfortable enough to make some mistakes. Pass rush and disciplined defense will be the key.

People are giving Baker a ton of credit for how well he's played recently. But that's Jacksonville and Tennessee, two of the leading defenses in the league at making QBs comfortable. He was average against Philly, downright terrible against Houston prior to that, which are two teams that make QBs uncomfortable.

i've not been expecting much from this game lol - cleveland's been inconsistent but their peaks have been way higher than ours this year and I just don't trust our offence to do anything with any efficiency
 
I hate to say it but unless this Dolphins collapse we will need to win out. If we are both 10-6 they have the tiebreaker.
 
I’m not sure if this has been talked about but Lamar didn’t wear a visor I don’t think last year and he took it off halfway through the Cowboys game because it was fogging up and he was playing better. I get it’s the cool look but I really think it may be messing up his vision.

on top of that you can’t see half his facial expressions and I feel like this team really plays emotionally off of each other. I really hope he isn’t wearing that visor tonight.
 
If we do lose today and we end up picking 18 or lower, our chances to nab Wyatt Davis increase exponentially, likewise our chances to nab a star receiver, I’ve made my thoughts on terrace Marshall clear, but a guy I could see the ravens being super high on, jaylen waddle, would very likely be available in that mid teens area we would be sitting at if we miss the playoffs at 10-6/9-7
