Next Up: vs Jags

im assuming this means Dez can't come off the Covid list like was planned today - will have to wait until the 18th i assume - still should be back in time for sunday though would be my guess

but who knows...

also it's bizarre that this wasn't always the protocol

Sounds like Dez’s situation was a little different so he was activated today. He never really tested positive except for the rapid test which is not at all reliable. His inconclusive results were because they saw something that would potentially indicate an oncoming case - essentially, they thought he might have it but had to wait the incubation period to find out. Now that he’s continually tested negative through the incubation period, he was activated. An odd case for sure.

While I'm not from the UK, I can attest to the 1 pm games. I was in London for our week 5 matchup against the Steelers and refs. Good timing. Me personally, I only want 1 pm games. Fuck the primetime games. I hate the wait.

Back to the Jags, the only reason why I don't think this game is a trap game per se is the fact we need every win to virtually guarantee us a Wild Card spot.

also the jags are 100% in the tank - even if we play shite they might still find a way to lose

I wonder if it was just luck that he came off the list before the new rule came in place (although you’d think they’d implement it retroactively)

I didn’t even know who the hell Harris was because I couldn’t watch the Steelers game. I hate how we entered the season with the most talented secondary and now it’s been decimated. I don’t know if I can trust Tavon anymore. Didn’t he recently restructure though?
yes he did restructure and I understand your trust issues with Tavon.

COVID is bullshit

i dont understand how this happened - how did they all get done? close contacts? or positive tests?

the fact that it's all 3 suggests maybe they werent wearing masks in meetings or something but would also you assume mean one of them has tested positive...

oh well - we will only be running from now on anyway - not sure who the backup punt returner is though - maybe Willie Snead?

next man up i guess

Dez, Duvernay and Snead gonna play a lot of snaps

Chris Moore would be WR 4 I think in this scenario

Jaylon Moore is the only practice squad WR

update!!!

so must have been a WR coach - and I'm guessing these 3 guys were the guys in the meeting who didn't have their masks on the whole time...

Well good news is they still have time to get cleared for Sunday, though frankly, I'm not sure they're that significant this week (hopefully).

I was about to post something last week about this. My question is... now that you've got like half a locker room who's tested positive previously, are they free and clear of the possibility of landing on the list again? What is the NFL's policy on players who've already tested positive and recovered? Are they assuming they can test positive again? While I'm sure they still need to follow protocol, it would be odd if like Lamar ends up back on the COVID list, given that the medical data largely suggests contracting the virus twice is a long shot.

I absolutely know some people who have gotten it twice

I just read that Kamalei Correa was placed on the “left the squad” list. I’m wondering how much he didn’t want to face us that he decided to just up and walk out on the Jaguars. He must be scarred for life.

if only that were true - he was part of that titans front that destroyed us in the playoffs last year

lol - at least it looks like we'll have humphrey, averett and williams and then hopefully peters and harris can fill out the other 2 spots

but we're in a wretched place in terms of DB health
