The 2021 Offseason Thread

Jensen had an issue with sleep apnea that was bad enough that the ravens basically ended up waiving him and he spent that year on the practice squad
Ahh yes, that's it! I knew it was something weird & not your traditional injury.

Jensen's definitely been stout in the running game. But for what it's worth, I've watched a lot of Tampa Bay, and he's had a rough time as a pass blocker.

Does he snap the ball decent enough that it doesn’t get his QB killed?? Ok, that’s already an improvement in every single way

By the way, Truth, I remember you from the old BR.com forums, right???

Fair and I get it. The snapping was atrocious, in several games especially. It just makes sense to also point out that Jensen gave up among the highest totals of pressures, hits and sacks at his position. They were essentially tackle numbers. Not to say that he wouldn't be an improvement. Just that it would likely be a measured one.

Yep, yep. Am one and the same. Which user name were you under?

For sure man. I definitely agree, I just think we would be so much superior in this scheme they seem intent on keeping if we had elite interior blockers. If we were mauling people over, we would run right through everybody. Yanda was a legend, but we have to remember he was on his own on the interior and he was on his way out because of age. Imagine him in his prime, with at least a solid C and an elite LG.... damnnnn

I was Seahawk at one time... don't remember my first one.. I was in high school at the time man. Good memories

He kind of danced around the question which was weird to me. Said both could get a call at any time for a HC job. If Harbaugh doesn’t have the gonads to hand Roman his termination papers, I’m seriously starting to wonder about Harbaugh and his thought process. He’s way too loyal to his coordinators and that has absolutely killed us in the past.

That last tweet is icing on the cake. You disagree with a HOF QB that gave you all of the evidence you needed to see on tape, IN DEPTH?! I’m starting to sour a bit on him guys.

im more worried about him disagreeing about the passing concepts etc.

Is he out of touch, or is he just ridiculously loyal to his coordinators where they absolutely have no faults?

Harbaugh doesn't call people out in the media and I don't think he ever has. What do you expect him to say?

"Dude, I know, our passing concepts suck & Warner/Steve Smith are spot-on. We need to do better. I have been telling Greg to do it but he won't. Nobody should hire this man, we're about to fire his ass."

That will never happen. I don't think he has ever said anything bad about a specific player or coach or even ref?

idk about this just because he actively defended it - i think maybe it's important that he pointed out those things are all in our playbook (specifically didnt say anything about whether those plays were called)

then again he also talked earlier in the presser about being better in the passing game - specifically mentioned screens too which obviously are not something we run a lot of right now

idk how he feels about the actual answer to that question - and my guess is we never will know because it's not his MO to call someone out - especially in a presser...

Bisciotti has to step in and fire Roman if Harbaugh doesn't do it.
I haven't heard him saying that they will bring someone in to help them with the concepts and scheme.
But ultimately that's what I expected. Nothing will happen.

Of course not, but he should’ve announced this morning that we’re moving on from Roman. Now this offense will take a big hit in regards to trying to convince skill position players to come here. Dez’s opinions holds a lot of weight in the NFL.
